- Spotless Car Wash: Usually after washing the car, you may notice spots on your vehicle. These spots are caused by the precipitation of mineral ions in the water. The AKM Deionized Water Car Wash System is designed to remove mineral ions from water, producing pure, deionized water. By washing your vehicle with deionized water, you can achieve a spotless finish without the need for manual drying.
- Bypass Function for Easy Switching: The included valve features a built-in bypass function. No complicated stepsjust shift the handle to switch between bypass and filtration modes. Use the bypass mode during most of the car wash, then switch to filtration for the final rinse to conserve pure water and extend the resins lifespan.
- Our system is not a single-use product. When the resin inside the tank is exhausted, you can simply refill it using AKM 10L mixed di resin. Just pour out the used resin, refill the tank, and reconnect the systemit's ready to use again. Unlike standard plastic filter housings, our durable tank is built for long-term use, so typically only the resin needs to be replaced.
- How to Use: Our car wash system comes pre-filled with 9.5 liters of mixed bed resin. Simply connect it to your garden hose, and it's ready to use. The system is reusablejust replace the mixed bed resin when needed. The included TDS meter allows you to test water ppm value at any time.

I originally bought this kit hoping to make the drying process a bit easier, but it exceeded my expectations. The kit is nearly complete, though you will need to pick up one additional short hose to finish the setup. I was particularly impressed by the quality; the hose connectors are sturdy metal rather than cheap plastic. The filtration results were shocking. My tap water tested at .0242 PPM, but after passing through the filter, it dropped to .0001 PPM. I actually re-tested it because I couldn't believe it! This pure water makes my foam cannon produce much thicker foam and cling to the car longer. While a few water spots still appear during drying, they wipe off effortlessly with a towel, leaving no stubborn mineral stains behind. This product does exactly what it claims and more, it definitely earned this rating.

This is my first spotless car wash system and washes at home and is worth the investment instead of drive-thru car wash to prevent paint damage. I occasionally wash my car at home several times and always leave water spots on my car paint. This AKM Spotless Water System took just a couple of minutes with the garden hose quick connector, and it’s ready to go right out of the box since the resin is pre-filled. After the final rinse I can let the car air dry and there are zero water spots, even in the sun. It saves me time because I’m not chasing drips with a towel and may damage the paint from the water spot. The result came out good.

UPDATE: I'm updating from 1-star to 4-star. I hope they have corrected the threading issue, but I just used a 2-part epoxy plumbing resin to permanently seat the brass fittings. In terms of performance, it works exceedingly well. I plumbed softened and (heated) 140°F water to it, and I can now be lazy by not drying my car. It isn't perfect, because it is a function of how throughly you agitated ALL of the dirt off while washing, but for my "clean enough" purposes, this works great. Best part is that I can rinse, foam blast, rinse, in under 10 minutes, even in the winter, to get a 95% clean without even getting my hands wet. To wall mount, get an oxygen tank strap holder and a simple 90° bracket. A wall-mounted electric pressure washer with this is now the gold standard. If you can get warm or hot water to your washer, the degreasing and bug-removal power quadruples.

This system was quick to set up and works exactly as expected. The water comes out very clean and helps leave a spotless finish after washing. The included TDS meter is a nice bonus and makes monitoring easy. Highly recommend.

I have used it for less than 2 months and definitely for less than what was specified to give me 0ppm water. I have 250ppm water where I am and have only done 10 car washes now, and it’s giving me 37ppm water. For starters when new it was only reducing it to 2ppm which should have been the biggest indicator that something was wrong. I don’t see a way to contact the seller outside of reviews to fix this problem. Most likely bad resin was given.

I love in Phoenix and we have terribly hard water, this poses a big problem when it warms up here and I’m trying to clean my car. This is a game changer! It’s great how portable it is, I can easily move it out of the garage over to the hose bib and hook up my pressure washer. The neoprene cover makes me feel like the tank is going to be well protected and last a long time. It’s nice being able to rinse off my vehicle and not worry about water spots while I work my way around. 10 out of 10 for initial quality, time will only tell how durable it is. I’ve only used it a few times so far on my car but can’t wait to use it for cleaning my house windows as well. One critique would be if they already would have the threads sealed rather than a roll of sealant tape and the fittings directly out of the tank. Hopefully the resin doesn’t gum up too quickly but that’s also dependent on how terrible the water quality is.

The quick fittings provided with this system are not any good. Leaked like crazy. I took a closer look and saw that there is no rubber O-ring gasket on the piece that is pushed into the other fitting. See first photo of their quick disconnect. Fortunately, I already had some good Gorilla quick connect fittings in my RV and used those. Now no leaks. Look at the Gorillas quick connect fittings, they have a rubber O-ring on the push in piece. Without the proper fitting, your connections will leak. This has nothing to do with putting teflon around the threads. No leaking from the threads. Only leaking around the quick connect fittings. I'd like a refund for the $17 I had to pay for the Gorilla quick connect fittings I had to buy to stop the leaking! Also, look at the diagram in the directions. It shows the female/female adapter attached at the filter's output. It doesn't need to go there, but it does need to go on the other end of your short hose that connects to the filter's quick disconnect and to your water spigot. Haven't had a chance to actually use the filter yet, but it probably works great. Was just frustrating to have these issues.

It was easy to hook up to my garden hose and no more water spots after washing my car. The bypass feature is super convenient and helps extend the life of the resin. My car dries clean without needing to towel dry, which saves a lot of time.
