These were very easy to install on my 2014 Sliverado LT. The resistors that come with these tail lights did not work and produced hyper flash and also caused the error to display on my dash BUT I ordered resistors along with these lights (50W 6Ohm LED Load Resistors for LED Turn Signals by XKGLOW). I replaced the factory resistors and have had ZERO issues. No hyper flash. No dash warnings. Also, I live in GA where humidity is prevalent and have not seen a hint of condensation on the interior of these lenses. ColoradoMak's review explains everything exactly as is.     • Updated Resistors! No extras Required!
These look awesome. Thanks to all the other reviews as well, made installation a breeze. Wanted to update them however, since the resistors that came with my set appear to have been updated, as I do not get any hyperflash or errors on the dash with these. They are pretty large, around 3"x3" boxes, but I was able to mount them inside and behind the housing. Make sure you take a damp cloth and clean out the inside of that panel, as mine had some dust and what not. The resistors come with an adhesive square on one side, and the glue is pretty strong, so make sure you're sticking it to a clean surface. ... show more

This is a complete tail light assembly. Both right and left lenses including integrated LED bulbs. With the exception of the reverse light which is not LED. However, the reverse light is still very bright. I have worked in Automotive Collision and Refinishing for nearly 20 years now, so installation was very straight forward, for me. If you've never done this type of work before, don't be overwhelmed. But rather, take your time and be careful. GET Load Ballast Resistors! Unless you like the broken tail light flash look. The kit comes with what appears to be load resistors, but they don't work as such. The LED panels still Hyper Flash due to the lower power consumption drawn from the LED. So your pickup thinks that the light is blown due to lack of resistance. Don't bother trying to replace your turn signal flasher, I'm fairly certain you won't find one on the 2008 and up GM Pickups. I believe these functions are regulated by the BCM (Body Control Module) or the other side of your computer to make it simple. Also, this kit does not come with instructions. So, you'll have to figure out how to remove your old factory lenses. Lower the tailgate to remove the two Torx head screws which hold the rear of the Lens in place. Firmly Grip the Lens and pull straight out. This may take some time, but it will come out. Now twist the tail light socket which holds the bulb and remove all 3 bulbs. Follow the tail light harness (pigtail) back to the junction block located on the left side of your pickup. There are several retaining clips holding the harness in place, so be mindful when removing them (or you could just use a small tip screwdriver to open them). You will need to reuse the retainers for the wiring harness that comes with the new kit. So be easy on them. Follow the original routing path which GM used and remember to do one side at a time. If you really want to make it a piece of cake, drop your spare tire before you start any work. I know this sounds unnecessary, however I installed mine in the driveway in the dark last night (09 MAR 2017) and not having that spare tire in the way would have made it a lot easier for me to be able see where I was routing the harness. These are great tail lights. They really make my truck look so much better. Easy to install and no codes on my dash. I recommend these to anybody that’s into fast and easy installs.

    • Update!!!!!! I do not recommend buying these
At first I thought I was had. The lense was foggy upon opening box. Installed anyway. Fired off email to seller. They responded quickly. Told me to send them a pic. Went out the next day. There was no problem. Been on close to a month without problems. Really easily installed. They did end up with moisture inside about a month later. I figured I could live with it. Then it got really bad. And started hyper flashing. The turn signal don’t work. I called them they said the warranty was up but since I contacted them before they would try to get me fixed up. Well that’s been over a month ago. So I’m sure I’ll have to repurchase elsewhere. I wouldn’t recommend buying these lights. ... show more

Mannn, these are dope! Started getting compliments same day I put them in. Install is ez. So ez a caveman can do it. 1. Unscrew 2 or 4 star screws. 2. Pull (maybe wiggle) unit. 3. Unplug wired connections 4. Replace new connections. 5. Push (maybe wiggle) NEW unit. 6. Screw 2 or 4 screws.

The plugs on the new lights did not match the factory plugs so I had to rewire both lights.
