Slightly heavier than the included RK reds in my Royal Kludge RK98, with a deeper sound profile, the Akko CS Pianos are still quiet enough to not annoy my coworkers in a shared office space. I have sound dampening foam in my keyboard - if you were to avoid foam and do a tape mod it would probably be quite a bit louder. I will choose something tactile with a loud thock for my home keyboard where it won't bother anyone, but that's really just a personal preference. These are very smooth. I'm glad they're factory pre-lubed because I'm far too lazy to manually lube each individual switch. Because of the way these are individually housed in molded plastic trays with boxes AND sleeves (which is VERY appreciated), I only found 2 with bent pins in the 3 sets I bought, and honestly I may have bent them myself when installing. I had watched quite a few videos on Akko keycaps before purchasing this set. My boyfriend helped me lube them, and they look so good on my keyboard! If you get this black jelly set, I’d definitely recommend taking the time to lube each of them because it makes a huge difference. I paired them with a set of ceramic keycaps and I’m in love with how it turned out. I occasionally unplug my keyboard just to click the keys 😂🥰🤍 great quality! Now, I’m gonna be real, I don’t know much about mechanical keyboards or anything, I bought these (the lavender purple switches) for use in making 3D printed fidget toys. So I can’t speak to how they perform in terms of like working in a keyboard. I can, however, tell you that they sound and feels great, which it what I was looking for, a satisfying thunk sound and just the right amount of resistance. I came from cherry browns to these and I can’t look back, these feel better, less scratchy and have a good sound profile. They fit perfectly in my Corsair k70 pro mini and have had no issues whatsoever, though, they have changed my RGB colors to a slightly purple tinge. The price is also very reasonable. So good I bought two! I have dozens of custom keyboards for reference. I’ve tried them all ( alpacas, tangerines, inks, box inks, kang whites, etc) And yet I daily drive these. Why? I've struggled to find modern tactile switches that I both enjoy using and actually consider tactile. These are finally an exception to that. The Jelly Purple switches have a pleasant round, pronounced tactile bump and a rather loud and full bottom-out sound. The keyboard I'm using them in right now is quite cheap and doesn't sound great, but I'm sure they will really shine in a nicer board. I love the feeling of these. Very light force needed, without any accidental presses. Smooth feeling, nice sound, packaged well, and they all fit well. Overall very satisfied with these. I was only planning to replace the main keys but bought more after trying. These replaced the VS II switches on the v84 keyboard. Compared to the Glorious panda's and baby kangaroo's (I can't believe i just used that in a sentence) these V3 Cream Blue Pro's ARE AMAZING! Simply the best feeling tactile I have experienced.
