This camera is alright. I bought it to use as a dash cam for my ebike since it is easier for me to bike to my office than it is to drive there. I love the plethora of mounting options it comes with as you pretty much have free reign to mount the camera any way you want it (that's the way you need it). However, there are a few odd things with this camera that I figured are worth mentioning First, the video quality seems to be okay. Even though this camera records at 4k (I checked the specs of the videos it was recording), the quality seems to be pretty grainy (it's absolutely horrible at night), and I noticed that I could pretty much only read a license plate (which is extremely important if a driver decides to hit and run), if I record at 4k or 2.7k, and can get a super clean, close up look at the plate. The videos at this quality take up a ton of space on the SD card so if you use this as a cycling dash cam as well, you'll probably find yourself clearing the space every few rides if you have an SD card under 128GB. Next, the camera seems to stop recording and start a new video every time the file size gets up to a certain amount (Around 4 GB). Not terrible to deal with, but it can make file organization annoying if that's important to you. Finally, for some reason the camera's date/clock settings seem to be saved on RAM memory instead of the camera's own hard memory, so you'll need to reset it every time you remove/change out the battery. I have used numerous versions of GoPros in the past. The value vs price of the AKASO EK7000 Pro is unbeatable. If you add up the individual cost of the included accessories, it's like getting the action camera for Free! I had no problem charging the batteries and you can look through the photos on Amazon or the AKASO website if you are not sure how the accessories attach. They also have a pdf manual that covers everything. I have seen some reviews about the batteries not working correctly. First, make sure that you fully charge the batteries in the included charger. Once installed, if they seem to go dead quickly, there is a chance that the battery moved inside the compartment. I have found that removing the battery and reinserting it will fix this issue. I can't recommend the EK7000Pro enough! Buy one (or two) before the price goes up! ... show more

It's a very good and AFFORDABLE action Camera. Can't go wrong buying this Action Cam, in fact I ordered a second one, for my Daugther to use in Dog Training events etc., It is a reasonably priced ALTERNATIVE compared to the big money for the BIG NAME ACTION CAM's !! The Video quality is excellent, and if there any sort-comings it's the 2MP Still photo's...... which I find not to be an issue at all! If, I want a quality still, I'll just use my I-phone, or break out one of my Canon Cameras. Can go wrong here for the Quality & Price. Customer Service is readily available! The camera itself is very good, but the phone app is wonky. It was difficult to maintain a connection to the phone. I tried mounting the camera to the side of my bike helmet (see photo) and I found that the weight of the camera and mount made the helmet tilted, so I do not recommend this method. Instead, I used the handlebar mount which worked much better. The shirt pocket mount would probably also work well.
