Overall, these are great tactical cargo pants, very comfortable, and fit as expected. However, there is one glaring fault that I had to deduct two stars for. The zipper on the left-front is a fake pocket. The zipper is purely “for show”, and serves no useful purpose whatsoever. To have anything that is purely cosmetic, when it could have just as easily been made as an actual, functioning pocket, simply does not belong on pants whose entire purpose is functional utility. Nothing on a pair of tactical cargo pants should be “just for show”. Everything should serve a useful purpose. So despite everything else about these pants being great, that fake pocket leaves a bad taste in my mouth (so-to-speak), which forces me to deduct those two stars. ... show more

    • Seller Keeps the advertised belt. Zipper pocket is fake. Fit is excellent. Quality seems very good, but I want my belt.

Sizing is ideal. I am 6' tall, weigh 190 lbs and am 37" in diameter at my navel. I comfortably wear a waist size 34, and ordered these in size 34. They fit perfectly. The build quality seems very good. The material is fairly substantial, which is very good for me. I hike and camp in some rough country. No Belt. The images, ALL of them, include a belt but I was not provided the belt, which should either be removed from the images or they should ship me the belt. Also, there is no statement in the advertising that a belt is "not included", and I do have the screen shot to back that up. Also, the little zipper pocket on the left is fake. There is no pocket there, which is another let-down from the advertised product. That the pocket is fake is also omitted from the text. Too bad the seller cuts these corners, keeps the belt and sews on a zipper for a fake pocket. Otherwise the pants seem very good, fit exactly as specified in the sizing drop-down, and are very comfortable. I recommend and might buy again, but the seller needs to supply the belt advertised for my first pair before I do buy again. ... show more

I've ordered 5 pairs of these pants so far in different styles. The last 4 pairs that I ordered however the front zippers keep opening up at the bottom so it makes you have to unzip then re-zip the pants to correct it. I love the way these pants fit and are made and the styles but the zipper thing is a deal breaker. I will not be ordering them again. ... show more

The materials used are okay, design is okay (excep tht eone zipper that leads to no pocket), but I'm not deducting anything for that. I purchased two pairs of these pants, in different colors. one pair, so far, is okay. the other has a zipper failure issue where the zipper sometimes works and sometimes simply doesn't lock into itself. and sometimes seems to lock, but a minute later fails. I've purchased a quality zipper which I will use to replace the bad zipper. why only 2 stars if the pants are mostly okay? because the zipper is a critical function, and it came broken. if the zipper didn't fail, I'd recommend these pants to others. ... show more

I like the close fit but if you want the baggy look, go for the next larger size. They come with ankle and belt ties for a no-belt look if you prefer. This pair of pants I like. So much so that I just brought 3 more pair in solid colors. As expected they are large in the waist. But I had to order the 42 waist in order to get the 34 inseam. The 40 waist and smaller seem to only be available in a 32 inseam. Since we have not had a flood in our area for a while, I would prefer normal length pants. Nice that the waist has a draw string to tighten it up. Could be worn without a belt. But belt loops are great too. There are two belt loops centered across the very back, where they should be. So many pants manufacturers position those more out over the hips. But in the center of the small of the back, they feel better there. As a tactical pant, I'm sure these will meet the bill. I've bought 4 pairs of these, so I'm something of an expert now! I started by buying a pair of 32s. (I'm actually a natural 31). They fit well and are comfortable and quite soft. I've washed them lazy-style and put them through the dryer and they didn't noticeably shrink. My fiance' stole them and loved them too, but wanted some super baggy ones for home lounging, so I ordered a pair in 40 and a pair in 38, and eventually another pair in 40 in a different color. Here's where the warning comes in. Different colors are made of different materials. E-Camo is 100% cotton and the black I got was a coarser canvas material. It also seems like different sizes use different manufacturing facilities because I notice subtle differences between them. Some are branded some are not, some have white pockets, some have black. They are all good, but there are some differences. Overall, I really like these! ... show more

I am a woman, ordered these pants because I hate womens outdoor-wear, they're all the same and don't last long nor are they very practical. So I have started looking at men's pants. I am 5'10-5'11, 170 pounds and ordered a 34. I'm so happy with these pants. A lot of people mention their qualms about the zipper indicating there may be a pocket, but there isn't.. I'm not really phased by that, there are ample pockets on these pants suitable for many things, pocket knife, plyers, etc. My only qualm was that the pants do not come with the belt as is advertised in the picture. These pants are great for fishing, backpacking, hiking, camping. You name it. Would reccomend. ... show more
