We love our star projector. We mostly use it to help our toddler fall asleep. It projects amazing looking auroras and lasers around the room. It has many features like changing color patterns, sleep timer, and laser rotation speeds. You can also choose between either lasers, auroras, or both. It has a built in rechargeable battery which is nice to prevent having loose cords around that our little one can grab and also to not use up an outlet. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a way to know how much battery power is left so one day when you go to use it it might be out of power. Definitely not a deal breaker in our opinion, just a little inconvenient. It has control buttons on the projector itself but also comes with a remote control. I personally always use the remote because it is so much easier to choose what features I am selecting. After some time we ended up having an issue with the remote control. Unfortunately, it stopped controlling the projector and changing the batteries in it did not fix the problem. We contacted Airsee to see if something could be done like potentially getting a replacement remote. They were prompt at responding and actually shipped us a replacement projector and remote within a few days. Overall we are impressed with this projector and the great customer service we were provided. This is definitely a company who stands behind their product. The media could not be loaded. About 5 colors of galaxies and 2 colors of matrix type starry dots (red and green). Rechargeable, holds a charge about 8 hours. Comes with a base. Can be used at any angle. There's a remote with a timer (30, 60, 90 min. Takes a flat penny sized battery in the remote, unit charges with usbC. I use it in the bathroom during baths but also picked up a 2nd unit for bedtime routine with a sleep story and my 5htp. Sometimes I take the unit to my home office and work in a space rave environment haha. I really like that it's cordless/rechargeable and has a timer on the remote. I really like the nebula and the color options. The item itself is high quality and rotates on a magnet. It works well. I just wish the stars had more options than just red and green.

I bought this one and the Skylite 2.0 there was so many to choose from, and reviews all over the place for all of them. This one is of course is not an actual star chart, for the price it shouldn't be, but its fine. I thought having red and green lasers would be cool, as most have one color option. but the red on mine is so much brighter then the green the 2 do not mix well. (there is a brightness adjustment on both individually. but really bright on max) they are however sharper than the skylite unit. This thing is very quiet, I cant hear anything from the motor. Being portable im still up in the air on. its cool to really have it mobile. but you cant use it plugged in per the directions. You probably could, but I would not leave it plugged in 24x7. just unplug when its fully charged. Having a magnate base is really nice so you are unlimited in positioning. Touch buttons are exactly that... very easy to hit the power button when moving it. the remote is very useful and worked as intended. Over all its a descent unit. if its bright in the room use the read, if its dark use the green. Use both for Christmas.. Probably wont help anyone's decision, its a descent mid range unit. ... show more

My 8-year old used to resist bedtime, insist on sleeping with the lights on, and get out of bed frequently. This item has really helped him have better sleep! Transitioning to bedtime is easier, he wants the lights off, and he loves choosing the color and setting the timer. He falls asleep, even if it takes a while. and doesn’t get back up. I have used this item in my classroom at school too as an incentive for smooth transitions to recess. Students love it! ... show more
