I use this for my own comfort. I could squeeze the airline belts closed. I just feel so tied down. Sure bet I need to lose a few… Ahem. Meanwhile the tongue side was a little tricky on my Alaska flight both insert/disconnect. Flying Delta later this month …maybe I’ll update. Other note: the length of belt would be excellent for certain tie down situations in a car probably. But I’m cutting off the excess tail and using a lighter to singe the cut end before I fly again. I order from Amazon all the time, it’s just how I do life. I rarely leave a review even when I love something do to time. I’m leaving a review now because this product deserves all the stars. I bought a seatbelt extender to save me some embarrassment on my flight, but the first one I bought didn’t work. (Even though it claimed to work with Southwest Airlines seatbelts.) While I was on vacation, Amazon to the rescue, I ordered another one. This one has three different seatbelt heads, what a great idea! Luckily this brilliant design worked for me. It was extremely nice not having to ask the attendant in front of everyone if I could get a seat belt extender. It made my trip home much more relaxing without the anxiety of feeling judged! I had never needed (or even heard of) a seat belt extender until last year. On one flight I ended up getting tossed the demo seatbelt from the safety briefing - that wasn't such a great fit. When I saw this extender I decided to buy one to carry. This year I needed it on one flight and I was very glad I had it with me. It worked perfectly. I've taken this extender on several flights now on United, Delta, and Spirit. Though I don't always have to use the extender on the newer planes, sometimes the belts are super short and won't buckle. I throw this little guy in my purse and never have to worry. I just sit down, pull it out if I need, and buckle up. Game changer.
