I don't understand what the strings are for, but these are 10/10 comfortable, 10/10 well made, 10/10 durable (for this type of shoe). They fit like socks and wear like shoes, with a nice wide toe box that doesn't make the shoes look like spaceman clogs. (I will never understand crocs). The protective toe cap was a surprise. Highly breathable, good grip... I love these things. My feet run hot, so I wore them all winter without ever getting too cold. I suspect they'll do great in the summer as well. ... show more

Very well made and quality for price! I love that you can wear a Lear of socks with them if you have narrow feet like me. Totally comfortable first time wear and no aching muscles more than normal after weightlifting.

These shoes are fantastic for lifting and CrossFit, which is why I bought them. I’m considering buying another pair to wear normally. When squatting or deadlifting, I feel like I can really FEEL the ground. They feel cushioned but are definitely flat and minimalistic. Would recommend. Really enjoy these so far. I used to wear VIVO barefoot shoes which are great just really expensive. I got the standard toe box and I think it works great since I sized up for a little space. But I’m sure the wide toe box works good also. Just depends how you like your shoe. I use them for casual wear as my other barefoot shoes have been demoted to gym use only. These shoes are awesome. Super comfortable , even more so than my 120$ vivo barefoot shoes . The 12 wide fits great , I’m usually a 12-13 depending on the shoe . Gonna try to keep them white as long as I can but the shoes are cheap so I can always just buy another

I wanted a barefoot shoe that looked like normal shoe and I could wear to work. In that aspect this shoe does great. They look very nice and not quit as casual as a tennis shoe. They do not have grounding which I'm disappointed with but this is not a shock as the description does not claim to have grounding. Just an opportunity. I wear them in an office/manufacturing environment. I'm at the office about 10 hours a day with my time spent walking/sitting to 50/50. They are very comfortable and lightweight. I'm mostly on concrete or carpet so the traction is very good. The reason for only 3 stars is after about 2 weeks of wearing them I've got a slight noise coming from the left shoe. I believe it is just the insole moving slightly when I walk. It's is annoying more than anything. Because of this I'm not sure how long they will last but for the price if I can get a few months out of them I'm fine with this. ... show more
