I have never owned an airbrush before, but I'm tired of using rattle can spray paint to base coat my miniatures. I will confess that I gave 4 stars for "Easy to use" just because the diagram about the parts within the unit did not explain it enough for my own ignorance. The compressor is nice, light, and holds a charge for a long time. It is easy to hold and should be compatible with other airbrush units. The USB-C charging is perfect, although the package does not contain a converter brick, but you can charge it directly from a computer with no problems. The airbrush itself feels like a starter unit, nothing fancy or spectacular, but its ideal for a starter kit. It is easy to take apart and clean, then reassemble. I would recommend this for anyone new to airbrushing, and since the entire package is ready to use and costs about half that of a compressor alone, the value for your dollar is high. This will not be my last airbrush to purchase, but I am happy it is my first. ... show more

I bought this airbrush kit a few months ago to use for painting model kits, and to try using it for traditional painting as well. This was the first airbrush I've ever owned, but I've been looking into buying one for a while. This kit has just about everything you could need to get started, and the airbrush being a double-action (meaning, you are able to control both the airflow and the amount of paint released with the button on the airbrush), is also good for getting practice with. The best part about this kit is it's portability for me. I don't have a ton of space so this kit was perfect for my needs. The battery on low got me about 30-40 minutes in a session but it charges relatively fast which is nice. The compressor isn't silent, but it also isn't super loud either, if noise is a concern for you. For the applications I was using it for, I mainly stuck to using acrylic paints, thinned down with water or rubbing alcohol. Depending on what you are using it for, it is good to keep in mind how much to thin down the paint so it evenly covers whatever surface you paint on, but also so it doesn't clog the airbrush itself. A cleaning trick I learned is to fill one of the paint cups with water, and place either your finger, or ideally, a cloth over the nozzle of the airbrush (being gentle however so you do not damage the needle), and release air/water through the nozzle. This will cause the water to bubble up back into the chamber and serves as a quick way to clean the brush between colors. While cleaning it a few days ago however, I accidently broke the nozzle while screwing it back into place. The parts are very delicate so keep that in mind when you are handling the airbrush itself and cleaning it. This kit did not contain any replacement needles or nozzles, but it seems that replacements aren't too expensive here on Amazon. Just something to keep in mind. ... show more

    • Great price to enter the airbrush market for miniatures
Giving this 5 stars because of the price, what comes with it, and the fact that it does the job as expected. I'm using it to prime and base coat miniatures for games like Warhammer 40k and after two dozen troops it has been working great. I look it as a tool that will allow me to prime year round (humid summers and freezing cold winters don't mix well for rattle can priming outdoors), as well as learning some new techniques before moving onto higher end airbrush setups. The only negative I have for my purpose is the battery life. Even plugged in it drains fairly quickly, I can prime and zenithal about a 10 man squad before having to let it recharge for a while. This works well for me because I generally only work on batches of 5-10 guys at a time, but don't plan to airbrush for hours on end. That said this is amazing value for the price being an all in one kit for around $30 and definitely is great value for my use! Highly recommend to any other mini hobbyists that are looking to step into the airbrush world and see if it's for them. Just make sure to watch some YT videos on proper cleaning and care! ... show more

okay to be honest I ordered this last night around 7 pm, i got free shipping and was expecting it Sunday. to my Suprise and delight it came around 11:30 am this morning. love the fact that it came that fast. packaging was nice. kind of like when you get a new phone. it also came almost fully charged which is nice, however I still charged it to fully charged. I haven't used it for paint yet i will soon. it sprayed water though so I know it works. super simple and looks to be high quality for a cheaper air brush. my first air brush and I'm happy with it. ... show more

Like the power display. Also, a good guidebook with some helpful tips for beginners. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY...it tells you to charge with the USB cord attached to a computer and not a quick charger. I wonder if this is why I have seen the life of these various types of portable brushes crap out so quickly. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Let me start my saying im not a professional barber but Ive been cuttin hair for years. This airbrush is way better than what I expected for the price. I purchased a more expensive one and returned because it sprayed way too heavy. This one was recommended but Eddie the barber on YouTube and I glad I came across his channel. The brush has two setting (low and high) which I like because it's easy to spray and achieve a natural look. The airbrush is quiet and although its bigger than the last one its not too big and its light weight. Do yourself a favor u won't be dissapointed. ... show more
