Lemme start by saying that new cars are not for me. Hate having car notes or the situation of paying a note AND repairs. On top of that I'm not a repair car type of guy. So finding reliable parts at decent prices is my wheelhouse. So with THAT out the way here's the review. I have a 99 Tahoe with all the textbook quirks typical to that model. This piece is one of them. I've been to the local pick & pull every late fall for THIS particular part or the wiring harness. IF I happen to run into the rare Chevy truck at that has not been ravaged and mauled by mechanics stocking up on it, the part has not lasted into the next winter. It's bestto buy electrical parts new if you can in my experiance. Even online they usually sell only the entire board for $100 and locally $150-$200. This here was an absolute Godsend. Cheapest price AND fastest cheapest delivery option for me. Because of the design of the truck collecting heat behind the unit, I'll be happy if it lasts 2 winters. I'll consider it a flaw in the truck and my horrible wiring skills rather than the part. So far I've bought 5 - 10 parts through Amazon and the experiances have been good. I've found that if it says it fits my truck, they're right. My advise to anyone is to get OEM parts, and read the 2, 3, 4 star reviews thoroughly to get a good idea of what you getting.
