This mid length silky satin robe is absolutely beautiful in person. I use this robe as my summer days rove because it's thin and it's more suitable for warmer weather. But it was made very well, my only complaint is that like so many other robes, the rope that ties around your waist has to be fed through those 2 loops in order to stay in place, I wish th we rope was sewn into the robe, because I hate fighting with the rope. While on one hand, this is a nice kimono robe overall, there are a few things about it that are not quite right. I found loose threads that caught on my fingernails. The collar band has no interfacing or reinforcement, so it's flimsy and doesn't hold its shape. The inside pocket seam is not overstitched and is already unraveling (odd, because all the other raw edges are finished). The strangest thing is the sleeves. This is not a traditional cut, it is stylized - which is fine, except I find that the sleeves pull. There are several ways to put in a kimono sleeves - they can be extended from the main front panel or a relatively straight topped sleeve can be sewn into a dropped or extended shoulder. In this case, a rather narrow sleeve with a curved cap is sewn into a dropped sleeve. This results in a puffed area at the seam in a very strange place that does nothing for the fit of the shoulder or for adding comfort to the robe. The only purpose the curved sleeve top serves is to give the narrow sleeve enough fabric to reach from end to end of the fabric body, which it would otherwise be too small to do. I don't care for the puffy look there and the tightness, but most people probably wouldn't notice. I debated about giving this robe a rating of 3, but because the red color I got is so deep and gorgeous, the satin fabric is nice, it fits true to size overall, and is a nice lightweight robe for warmer weather, I decided to go ahead and give it a rating of 4. I love this robe! It is very soft, silky, and the perfect length. It covers everything while still being pretty and attractive, not in a frumpy house robe. Very nice Kimono style robe, fits well and has plenty of length on the belt but it’s so silky it doesn’t stay tied and it drives me insane. It’s made well and it’s really pretty. It’s just not worth the annoyance of having to tie the belt constantly

The robe is soft and silky. It has a 3 quarter sleeve and ties in the middle. Unfortunately, it’s stiff and it’s not very flattering . Also, it’s runs a little large.
