Defective product — save your money and buy a better brand I purchased this compressor for my 2015 GMC Terrain. The first unit was defective right out of the box—the compressor clutch would not engage. The system was properly evacuated to approximately -30 inHg, 5 oz. of PAG oil was added, and the system was charged with 1.5 lbs. of refrigerant. I’m a certified Master Mechanic, and I verified power from the relay to the compressor clutch. The clutch still would not engage, even when directly jumpered. I had a replacement compressor shipped and bench-tested the clutch before installation. The clutch engaged properly, so I installed it, properly evacuated the system, added the required oil, and recharged it. Unfortunately, the second compressor has another serious defect: the displacement/control valve is not functioning, causing the compressor not to pump even though the clutch is engaging. At this point, I’m out approximately $240 in refrigerant, not to mention the time and labor wasted replacing a defective compressor twice. This is extremely poor-quality equipment. I strongly recommend staying away from this manufacturer and spending the extra money on a reputable brand. Trying to save a few dollars on this compressor ended up costing me significantly more in refrigerant, labor, and frustration.

Do not order this. If you have a honda civic 1.7l it will not fit. Its not even the same shape as the original. The bolts line up but the mounting bracket for the alternator will not clear the top bolts in the front face of the compressor try again China.
