UPDATE: This is my 6th purchase and these are awesome! I’ve never had to replace and they do NOT fringe or warp. The elastic keeps it shape too so I’ve never had to adjust even after many runs on the trail! Pro tips: 1. Put the elastics in and wear your shoes a couple of days with just the elastics. They look like laces so no one will know and you can adjust for the right fit before cutting them off to install the plates 2. Do NOT cut off the end of the elastics all the way to where you think you need them at. I cut to where I still have about 4 inches to work with before putting on the plates 3. Put you shoes ON, double the elastic over (as shown in the supplied instructions) and then place your plate on. Screw the screw in to hold the plate. Do the other side the same way. Don’t worry about the extra elastic sticking out yet. 4. Adjust the laces to make sure they connect as you wish, the plates lay in the center, etc. If you need to take up more elastic or move the laces around, remove the screw and adjust accordingly. 5. Once you are completely satisfied, THEN cut off the extra elastic under the plates. If you cut off too much of the elastic at first, there is NO way to add it back on. Leaving the elastic a little long while you install them does not affect the install at all and allows for mistakes, especially when doing these for the 1st time. It IS tedious but if you follow these tips, you will want these in ALL your shoes with laces as they just look so much better too. I get sooo many compliments and it is so much easier to just slip on and go. Don’t hesitate to buy!! Well, I feel like I’ve earned a Masters degree in tieless shoelaces after installing these suckers. Definitely not easy. But I do like the finished product & the ease of slipping on my run abouts so if they last, definitely worth it. Just prepare yourself to take it slow & careful & definitely follow the instructions!

These laces were not difficult to thread on the shoes, and it was easy to install the metal clips. The instructions that came with the laces were clear and they even give you a bonus lace in case you mess up cutting the length. I got the length right on my first try. My kiddo has worn the shoes these laces are installed on a few times now, and I am a little disappointed in how easily they come undone. For example, this morning he was climbing around inside the car and the buckle came undone. BUT, even if it comes undone, the lace stays on the shoe and the shoe stays on the foot so… I think ultimately it’s worth the convenience and safety (no risk of tripping on undone laces).

Amazing for kids to transition to tennis shoes with laces... My son is in kindergarten and has not yet master time shoelaces but he was gifted tennis shoes with laces so we got these in the meantime. They look is clean and great. I put my son's get in them so I can get the right fit before cutting the excess string.

These laces are super cute. My daughter hates tying her shoes, who can blame her?? I'd rather slip into my shoes too... The problem has been, for the last couple years, all the shoes she liked had lace's... Last year I bout an expensive pair of plastic ties that hook together.. they not only looked dumb but they continually broke until I just bought a different pair of no tie shoes. This year I check out what Amazon had and found these.. these laces are so cute and strong. They were easy to put on and my daughter is so happy with them. They are very comfortable, with a good stretch.. The only suggestion that I would have for the company is to include two sets of the magnetic buckles, because I have enough left over laces to fit on another set of shoes. It would be a waist to throw them away.

Bought these for my daughter who is 7. She loves the color. They sent 3 laces so you have an extra which is nice. A few days after wearing them one of the magnets fell out. Super glued it in then another fell out. Not sure if it was the same one but since they are small she lost it at school. Then for sure another fell out. One end that I burned kept slipping so the end piece was falling off. I ended up putting a different type of end to it (draw string clamp) so she can still use the elastic.

I was a little worried at first that the clasp might be tricky to figure out, but the instructions were clear and detailed, making the whole process surprisingly easy. The laces were quick to install and work exactly as described—no more tying shoes! I also really appreciated that they included an extra lace, just in case. Overall, these no-tie laces are super convenient and a great for my toddler's shoes!
