I was a little skeptical when my wife first ordered this product. She purchased it on a lightning deal which included free shipping. It arrived on a pallet in 3 seperate and I had to have a friend help me carry it upstairs it is quite heavy (around 300 pounds). I was pleasantly surprised on the quality of material and the set up was quite easy. The memory foam mattress is awesome, very comfortable and supports even bigger/heavier people. This is my everyday bed. It's very sturdy and comfortable. I live in a small 1br with my two kids and this has helped immensely. My kids have their room and I have the living room. It's super comfortable when the mattress it brings, I don't need anything else and I suffer from sciatica and radiculopathy on and off. The only thing that's annoying for me is to have to put it away every morning at 5am but at least once is away I no longer have the temptation to get back in bed 🤣🤣🤣. I am actually pretty impressed by this piece of furniture. My husband assembled it in under an hour by himself, so it was easy to put together for a handy person. The mattress seems like it will be comfortable enough for guests to sleep on without them wanting to over stay their welcome, hah! The only thing I'm disappointed about is the crappy paint job. They maybe sprayed one layer of paint on the exterior of the cabinet in a dusty shop so there are paint goobers and chips and on the entire piece. This isn't super noticeable if you're jogging by it briskly, but unfortunately our office is too small to jog. I wish they would have at least sent a touch-up pen. I have contacted the company, we'll see how we fair there. The freight company that delivered ours was great. They called the day before it arrived and the entire item, which consisted of three very large boxes was shipped on a wooden pallet and wrapped well. There wasn't one hole or scratch in the packaging when it arrived. (Thanks Diamond Line Delivery Systems!) Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.     • One Year Later, Still Great!

I've had this for nearly a year now. Absolutely love this; it has gone through one move with me as well. I did have help for the assembly, but it was mainly because I am a very small woman, and there were a large number of boxes. A good friend of mine was able to put together the whole thing in about an hour, with only a power drill because he wanted to be fast. We did note that the back board holes were a little off, but the drill took care of that. Once assembled, it actually is fairly easy to just slide around wherever I need it. I did need help to lift one edge at a time to get it on a rug though. I am 5'3" and sleep on it just fine. This is the bed that I sleep on every night. I have had two friends sleep on it for a week without any issues. I like the space saving of this, as I put away my bed to open up the floor for exercise, or to have space to put down a small coffee table and cushions for entertaining. I will note, hilariously, there is a handprint in the varnish in the interior. The outlet works just fine, I have my alarm clock and a charger on it. Update: do note that the mattress is very hard to rotate/flip, since it's very tempting to not move it at all. I would advise against this, and periodically remove the foam blocks from the cover to flip and switch around. I have noticed a sag and discoloration on one block. I am deciding whether or not to replace it or reach out for warranty, but wanted to let folks know to flip and rotate the blocks. ... show more

This product was going to be in the guest room. I love the design, no question there. The quality however, leaves you with chills. Some parts are prefabricated. The screws were missing on the hinges and there was cracks everywhere. Make sure to look at the parts closely. I do not believe parts were damaged by shipping, I truly believe it came like that from the manufacturer itself. The pictures speaks for themselves. There are more pictures but I think you get what I am saying. AND again, for once in while visitors it would have worked great, be aware of the weight though, I don't think it will withhold people over 200 pounds. Its fragile. I had to return mine. The bed arrived on time, but in 3 huge awkward and hard to handle boxes. Nothing was damaged in the delivery process, but the product had light scuffing from rubbing on packaging material, which sticks out like a sore thumb on the white surface. Some of the finishes are clearly hastily done, and item is obviously mass produced on a budget. It took 2 people 2 hours to assemble! Which we feel was totally unexpected, and unacceptable for a nearly 1400$ piece of furniture. (There is a reason we don’t shop at Ikea.) The wood is real wood, but the hardware is about as cheap as it gets. For example the screws that attach the pull handles barely extended through the wood far enough to catch threads on the handles. Some light tooling was required, and the supplied washers could not be used in some cases because the hardware supplied was too short. Also the mountain of garbage and packing material left after assembly is larger than the item itself. On a positive note the mattress appears to be of good quality, and the hinges and drawer slides move smoothly. A single person can easily transition to and from bed mode in under a minute. ... show more
