Not only does it fit under seat on the most strict airlines but it's basically Mary Poppins carpet bag! It fits an incredible amount of stuff. I'm not a tech heavy person so I needed a bag that didn't take room away from packing to cushion tech that I don't use. This does that but has ample cushion for someone who does tech it up! I probably have 5 or 6 backpacks and this one is definitely my new favorite. It fits perfectly under airline seat, attaches to carry-on bag, lots of pockets, comfortable shoulder straps, and just the right size. I could not be more pleased with this bag.

It was appealing that it could be used as a backpack or a briefcase. I was a bit skeptical that it would last, because of its reasonable price, but I felt it was not a major investment. It has been through months of travel; some of which was demanding on the backpack, yet it looks almost new. This bag is a workhorse -- great materials, construction, design, and, versatility. This is the first item that I’ve purchased from Amazon that didn’t already have a consumer rating so I’m happy to say that I’ve made a good purchase. Great size for United Airlines as a personal item. Very well made and surprised that my iPad Pro 12.9 fits in the tablet sleeve. Three light weight pants, shirts, socks, underwear, pj’s toiletries and 14” laptop fit in the main section with a little room to spare. Shoulder straps fit in their own zipper compartment, great fabric and zippers. The water bottle sleeve is a little small though. My only gripe!
