Another win for Aelfric Eden. I used to live in leggings, I loved them- just not first thing in the morning when EVERYTHING feels constricting. That’s when I’d reach for sweatpants. Problem is, most sweatpants don’t exactly scream style. They’re bulky, have those weird hems, pockets hitting you at “HELLO, HERE I AM” level and RIGHT at the hip. you know the drill you’ve been there But finally, YAY! AE delivers sweatpants that actually look good. And they’re right on trend with barrel and loose fitting pants this season. . It might sound a little gimmicky to have “sleeves” attached to your pants, but hear me out, it works. They’re sewn into the sides and with a little adjusting you can actually snatch your waist. In sweatpants!! . I know. What?? What a time to be alive. The contrast is what really makes these pop. The stripes against the solid fabric, plus the matching waistband detail all ties together (literally and visually). You can wear the ties higher or lower depending on your vibe. And the rhinestone cross detail in one leg ? Super eye-catching without being over the top like you bought bedazzling supplies at the same time. These are totally wearable out of the house—errands, coffee, even lunch if you’re feeling cool (or pretending to be, like me). You won’t look like you just rummaged of your laundry basket for yesterdays sweats . A couple things to note: the sleeeves cover the pockets and I miss using them to put a hand in - however those sleeves might make them pretty secure! and The drawcords at the hem are not my favorite. If you cinch them, the loop is big enough to be a hazard. My dog (close walker 🙄) got his foot caught in one fir a serving , and the plastic toggle clicks on the ground.eeek Easy fix: don’t cinch them. Problem solved. So while these aren’t my absolute favorite AE pants they are still ABSOLUTELY fun and wearable I still recommend them. They’re comfortable, stylish, and have that little extra EXTRA AE always brings. I got them in gray but if I got to do it over again I’d probably go black BTW if you go thru the sellers phots you’ll come across a video with a dancing model. I have no clue how she got THESE pants to ride so low but rest assured they are full sized and naturally hit at the waist. Already looking forward to whatever they come up with next. I’m in!

I love Aelfric Eden, and have quite a collection of tops, sweats, hoodies, and even jeans. The quality of these sweatpants is no less than any other pair I own and love. The fabric is not the typical fleece stuff most people think of, but a very nice material that doesn't eventually pill and lose it's softness. This particular design is trendy and cute, but may bother some due to the bulk of the tie front element. It is fully attached, so there's no real option of removing it if it bothers you (unless you sew), so keep this in mind and be prepared to return or exchange if the tie front element bothers you. Sizing on these, and all of their clothing, is pretty standard and you're safe to order based of their size charts--do check these, as some Aelfric Eden clothing is designed unisex, and that can change how things fit; the size charts have never done me dirty. The price is appropriate; you're not getting fast fashion, or flimsy items. With proper care, this pair of sweatpants can last you years, not a season.

I received these sweatpants through Vine. They are way more baggy than “barrel.” They are loose and oversized side throughout the leg and have drawstring bottoms. The biggest drawback for me is the waist tie. It’s very bulky and not removable, so it kind of just sits there and adds extra volume around the midsection. It doesn’t lay as flat or adjustable as I’d prefer, which takes away from the overall look. The positive is the material is soft and comfortable for lounging or casual wear, and the silver design detail stands out. However, the material doesn’t make up for it weird fit. If you like the super loose baggy 90s/2000s styles these are for you.

These sweatpants are cute and comfy, but they don’t give the barrel look imo. They fit pretty baggy, but tts in a sense. You can wear them wide leg or scrunch the bottom with the drawstrings. They’re a good, sorta thick material, but not hot. I don’t recommend drying them in a dryer, because mine shrunk. Also, you can wear the straps tied or just let them hang. A bit disappointed because my clothes from this brand don’t usually shrink.

Easily one of the hippest pairs of sweatpants I’ve come across in my 1/2 century of life… dear God 😆. (Self-realization there). But these are very trendy, very cool, and super street-friendly knickers 😎. Total punk-goth, Y2K vibe all the way 🖤! I love the striped sweater detail around the waist.. it ‘wraps’ in back then in the front it ties up.. giving it the layered look without needing to carry the sweatshirt 😆, or worrying about a real one falling off, time and again. And it is giving that effortless grunge look 👍. The rhinestone embroidered cross next to the Aelfric Eden logo is such a standout touch ✨. Definitely early 2000s energy in the best way. They’re thick, structured, and really well made 💯! The boxer-style waistband detail that matches the wraparound sweater adds that extra edge and gives you a few more inches of that cool streetwear look that is sure to get your looks 👀. These are the kind of pants people WILL ask about, so just expect compliments galore 🙌. The barrel cut is super flattering, too. It keeps that loose, baggy feel while making your waist look more snatched, which I love 🔥! Honestly, one of my favorites. I’ve reviewed a ton from this brand and even bought pieces outside of Vine… so I’m clearly a fan. My kids (teens) love them too 👯♀️. Worst case… we share them, if I ever get them back 😂. One just borrowed them for school, he he. For reference, I’m 5’6”, and some styles run a little short on me. My girls (5’1”, 5’2”, 5’4”) get away with the fit better. These are some very thick sweat pants. I was confused when I got them though because tie around the waist part is actually shirt sleeves. It’s interesting to look at today the least. They are comfortable though and the sleeves tie up easily. I like how baggy they are and they feel like the material is definitely high quality. I would buy again. They are a decent price for the money and quality.

These Alfred Eden barrel sweatpants master the illusion of a layered streetwear look without the unnecessary weight. The built in sleeves stay perfectly tied in place. On the upper leg there are diamond stars aligned in a cross shape providing a sharp, aesthetic against the black fabric. Most importantly, the adjustable bottom ties allow for a transition from a baggy silhouette to a bit more tapered finish, ensuring the hem never hits the pavement regardless of your movement. These Aelfric Eden barrel‑leg baggies are all that and then some. The quality, the style, the fit, everything about them shows how much care the brand puts into its designs. The workmanship and materials feel top‑tier, and you can tell the moment you touch them. The wrap‑around “arms” detail across the front is definitely a love‑it‑or‑leave‑it feature, but I’m firmly in the “🥰” camp. Every time I wear these, people stop me to ask where I got them because they’ve never seen anything like them. They’re warm, super comfortable, and baggy in a flattering way, they don’t swallow your shape, especially if you’re curvy. For reference, I’m 5'1", about 145 lbs, and the size small fits slightly oversized, which is exactly the look I wanted. The length is perfect, long enough to look stylish but not so long that they drag or throw off the outfit. If you appreciate unique streetwear with real craftsmanship behind it, these pants are a standout. Aelfric Eden continues to impress.
