item is 3 feet wide by 8 feet long. This image makes it look like it is wider than it is long. This image looks like it shows about 3 of the items together, so the item I received is 1/3 of the size. I bought these for an '80s themed trade show I was participating in and they arrived more colorful than I had imagined! They were a little longer than I had picture, so make sure to pay attention to the dimensions. But now, even after the show, I have hung it over my son's door frame and it was an instant hit!!
