Wore this to a goth dance night at a local bath house (giving this context because it -might- be a bit too risqué for regular club nights) -- and lemme tell ya... it was a huge hit. I got so many compliments and head-to-toe looks. I'm 5'3", about 230 lbs, big bust/hips/belly/butt/thighs. Ordered a 3X and it fit like a glove. I wore a sheer thong and Snag faux garter tights with it, and that provided just enough coverage to not feel nude, because it's so breathable and soft that I really didn't feel like I was wearing anything. This is remarkable because I have a 44DD bust and the little halter string surprisingly didn't dig into my neck all night (a huge issue of mine with halters). The black coverage sections are definitely sheer in bright light, but provide enough coverage in darker settings. That being said, those sections don't budge, even without any bust/body tape -- and I dance like stompy little tornado, so that's saying something, I had zero wardrobe malfunctions. I -will- warn that it will ride up if you have to walk up/down stairs, I definitely had some cheek sneakage on the stairs, but it was nothing a subtle tug didn't fix! The hem doesn't roll up otherwise, and has decent cinching across the thighs (without actually having a cinch string, that is). It fit pretty fantastically right under my booty! ***IMPORTANT*** I purchased this garment in black, and therefore knew it'd bleed dye onto my skin if I didn't pre-treat it. I washed it -twice- in a tiny countertop washing machine (cold water with Woolite detergent for dark clothing) to release as much excess dye as possible. I then ran it through with white vinegar and cold water to set the dye that remained, and washed it with Woolite one final time to get rid of the vinegar smell, rolled it tightly in a dark-colored towel (wringing it out will cause the elastic to stretch out and loose shape), and then draped it across a clothes drying rack. I really felt sexy and powerful in this lingerie-turned-dress. To all my fellow fat bodies, you can and WILL rock this garment, trust me. The fabric this dress is made from is nice. Often these types of dresses are made of thin, uncomfortable material, but for this dress the fabric is relatively thick, very soft and stretchy, and comfortable to wear. It appears to be overall good quality. I also like that it is very sexy, but covers all the essential areas, and the solid parts of the dress are not see through, so from that perspective you can wear it in public. The reason that I deduct one star is because for me it is too short, and the dress creeps up so if I am not careful my bottom gets exposed. Now I am quite tall of course at 5’10”, so if you are shorter, this will not be as much a problem for you. Still a nice dress and good value for money. I was worried about buying this outfit for my man because I'm not a lingerie girlie and I have gained some weight recently that I am trying to lose. Buying lingerie and any tight fitting clothing on Amazon can be hit or miss, but I am very thankful for all the reviews with sizes and the women who were brave enough to add pics so that I could assess my fit, shape, and size. I'm 5'4, 175 - 180, size large, 30 J, thick thighs and big booty. I got a size Large in the color black and it fit me like a glove; I had no issue with tying the straps around my neck and it was easy to put on and even easier to get off. Yes, it does not leave much to the imagination, so if you have some lumps, bumps, and rolls, they will show on the side. But trust me, if your partner loves you, they will not care! My man's eyes LIT UP when I walked out (I paired this body suit with some thigh high black fishnets and heels) and he made me feel so beautiful with all the praise that he rained one me. Is this a high quality outfit? No. It is absolutely a Charlotte Russe/Wet Seal/Rainbow grade quality outfit. PROS/CONS- Also going to talk about some other reviews- I weight 225 & got size XXL. Out of all the lingerie I have bought over the last 10years, which is a lot, this is the BEST QUALITY & amazing price! Some stuff I’ve gotten has been way more expensive & bad quality. This lingerie stretches & doesn’t rip easy & feel flimsy like a lot of lingerie. I’m thick & insecure about my body since gaining weight but I really like this! Some reviews say it looks like a shirt & the straps are broke. But they OBVIOUSLY did NOT try it on or read the description because the straps are NOT broken, they are made to tie around your neck. And the lingerie does look like a longer tank top but once you put it on it fits EXACTLY as described & like the picture shows & it’s form fitting. Mine fits me perfect. Part of me wishes I would of got an XXXL but I think the boob area would of been too big but I think a 3xl would of fit my thick butt & thighs better. 😂 anyway I am EXTREMELY happy with this purchase. Every time I buy lingerie online I’m disappointed with it. I usually shop in a store. This is the 1st good online purchase.
