These dolls are so cute!!! They look better in person. I couldn't get over how pretty they are when I opened the box!!! I am so happy I ordered these for our granddaughters!! I put off ordering these dolls last year because some people said the zip ties on the limbs were sharp and poking through the cloth and they were afraid of their child getting hurt. I inspected each tie on both of the dolls I got and I found no sharp ends on either doll. So, if it was a problem they have fixed it. They look well made, their clothes too and they smell so good!!!! Their thumb and bottle fits in their mouths real good. I know our granddaughters will love these dolls with their sleep eyes!! I am very please with these dolls and I maybe ordering more in the future!! I think any little girl would be happy with these dolls!!! Our granddaughters have medium skin and brown eyes and these dolls will be perfect for them. I love that they have different coloring choices in these dolls!! Although I can't say how well they hold up since the girls don't have them yet, I felt I could let people know how well made they are. I will try to come back after the girls have had them for a while and leave an update on how well they hold up. They are the best I have seen so far and I have checked out a lot of dolls!!! I'm not sure the bad reviews are valid. The doll is exactly as described and looks just like the doll in the picture. Other buyers complained of the skin color (which is beautiful), size (exactly as labeled), and flaws in craftsmanship (no flaws in mine). I do think the price is somewhat high for this doll and just noticed it is now on sale for $7.50 cheaper than I bought it a few days ago, but the doll is just as advertised.     • My spiritual grandchild, who is two years old, loves this baby doll!
My two year old grandchild, absolutely adores this baby doll. The skin color is the same as hers!!! Mom is black and dad is white. I am so thankful it matches her skin tone! This baby goes everywhere, and is machine washable. Also all of the extra items to purchase for the baby doll are adorable.

Mixed feelings about this doll. I think it was pretty expensive. Then again it was a gift and I went with their suggestion. I am sure those who collect dolls might say this doll was cheap. Where I think it was a good purchase was when my niece would carry it everywhere. In my experience , I have seen kids play with all the packaging rather than the actual toy. My niece did the opposite. Out of the box the dolls smells like baby powder. The doll is machine washable. The eye open and close. The doll closes the eyes when laid down, and opens the eyes when picked up. The doll is not the big either it is about 10 inches in length. When I opened I was expecting a bigger doll. Not at all. Which is ok in my situation since the dolls was the perfect size for my niece. For a small child, she really takes care of her doll.     • Hoping the quality remains good
We have 3 Adora Playtime 13 inch Baby dolls which I purchased for my granddaughters for Christmas last year. I purchased them with different eye colors and outfits. They are my granddaughters favorite dolls. They only want to play with these dolls so I am purchasing another one this year so they don't have to share and will have two at each house. My granddaughters were about 20 months old when I bought them and they are now 2 and 1/2 and play with these dolls all the time. They ignore their other dolls. I have noticed the eye of one of the dolls is a bit slower to open but overall they are in good shape for all the use they have gotten. I hope the quality with the new doll is as good as with the other ones because we have been satisfied. ... show more

    • Not sure why there are so many bad reviews about smell
I bought this baby for my 2 year old for Christmas. As I write this review, the price of this doll is $51(?!) but I bought it for under $10 (so wait!). People are complaining about an “awful smell” but it is a very light, powdery smell, much like laundry-fresh. She is soft, pretty and so far durable for 2 year old play.     • Beautiful but strong odor!
Beautiful, high quality, baby doll but she has the worst odor! Supposed to smell lile baby powder but it is a strong, heavy, perfume like odor. Wouldn’t have purchased it if I new it had this odor!
