I used to have the very expensive Harley unit. The quality of this, in my opinion, is as good. It installs easily and is pretty comfortable. If I had any wish, it would be that the backrest was angled a bit more forward. For the way I sit in the saddle, this has just a bit too little support. I’m considering taking the bracket and having it bent a bit to compensate for this. Otherwise - this is an amazing value. ... show more

Fits the new 2026 Street Glide 3 Limited Trike perfectly. You only need the slotted bracket to mount it but you will need another screw and better washers. But that’s just a little thing. Looks great and it looks factory so that’s awesome.

The instructions were a bit vague and not well defined. The pictures in the instructions need to be sharpened and clarified. Otherwise, by some trial and error I figured it out in less than 30 minutes. Unlike the more expensive Harley version, this backrest does not tilt forward to make it easier for the backseat passenger to get on and off. If you leave the height adjustment screw loose so that the rest is always in its lowest possible position, you can slide the backrest in and out of the bolted on receiver bracket as needed. This process is a bit of a pain, but doable with a bit of practice. The backrest pad is more on the firm side as opposed to being soft. It works well for my lower back and surely will increase my ride time. I do recommend this item. I would buy it again. ... show more

I took a leap of chance here thinking that for the price it would be worth a try. Bought it for my 2021 Ultra Limited and I am thoroughly impressed with the quality and fitment of this product. And, the cushion is super soft and comfortable. I can't feel any wood or particle board... unlike other backrests I've tried. The hardware and brackets look beefy and feel super strong. The pad mount has a built-in spring return that helps to keep contact with your back. I'm very happy with this product. ... show more

First the price was decent, however that comes a the cost of installation and adjustability. The instructions were poor and i resulted to watching other installations on youtube. Once you figure out how to install it, the main problem is that it's difficult to get the seat on and to adjust it afterwards. The screw to tighten and release the seat bar is BELOW the seat, so you cant adjust it if the seat it there. You have to take off the seat pad to lift the seat to take off the seat bar. I would not purchase this again, and after my long ride I will replace it with a better option. This seat may work for someone who intends to put it on and never take it off and who never needs to get under the seat. ... show more

This works good I installed on a 07 street glide it went on pretty easy, had to massage a couple things well one thing for install and one for my liking. The piece that anchors to battery/sub frame was a tad over bent 36.6 deg I took it to 47.2 fit great. The other thing i changed was a 22 deg bend about 2.5 inches from back rest start, I did this because for me it was reclined a tad to much. For me to rest against it I had to use finger tips on grips . No big deal works great now. ... show more

I got this backrest and discovered it did not work on my bike even though it says it fits 1990s harleys to 2020 harleys. I tried to install it on my 2006 road king and the components didn't fit underneath my seat for one. there were barely any instructions. and some of the hardware was missing. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM. Such a waste of money and time. almost 100 dollars for this? what a joke ... show more
