I am reviewing B0FM7WWYM4 "Adjustable Ice Skates for Kids Girls Boys, Kids Ice Hockey Skates for Beginners Ages 4-12, Toddler Ice Skating Shoes with Safety Ankle Support and Soft Padding for Outdoor & Ice Rink" Cool looking kids' ice skates that grow with your child. Easily adjustable through a sliding boot, ratcheting ankle strap, laces that need to be tied (not just decorative) and a velcro strap across laces. They have a carrying loop at the heel and come with a thin lightweight blade guard. The skates are comfortable and appear well-made. Main reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is unnecessary overuse of their company name as a design element. Nobody wants that and company's should cut it out.

Our first grandchild arrived, and we are a hockey family. It seemed reasonable that we should try to find her a first set of skates and found these on Amazon. Out of the many we looked at these at least looked “sort of” like hockey skates. We also thought that the “Pink” accents were a bit of fate since these were to be for our granddaughter. Unfortunately we figured out after the fact that nobody makes skates for a 1 year old (silly grandparents!) With regard to these skates, I think they will be a great set for her in about 3 years as I’m guessing that will be when she has a chance to have these fit. Construction wise these are built fairly well, certainly well enough for a young child who will never really put any stress on them. The size adjusts easily and would likely last for years if needed, but honestly if anyone starts playing hockey, these wouldn’t do. These would be good to get a little one on the ice and start to get the feel for skating. They have nice padding so I’m sure they will be comfortable for her and the blades seem, again, to be good enough quality for a child learning to skate. We did let a neighbor borrow them for their 4 year over the holidays and as assumed, they seemed to be comfortable, were able to be sized to fit the size of his feet, and allowed his Dad to help him glide around on the ice. He had a ball! I do appreciate that they came with a storage bag (also pink) that the skates fit into nicely and will help protect them from scuffs, or damaging other things with the blades. The bag is likely where they will stay for the next 36 months until she had time to grow into them.

Here we have pair of kids’ ice skates that can adjust as they grow, meant for ages around 4–12. SO therein the long term savings with growth. They’ve got soft padding inside and good ankle support so beginners don’t wobble too much. Works for outdoor ice or indoor rinks, and they’re made to be comfy enough for little kids who are just learning and maybe fall a lot. Of note: While the sizing adjusts, but sometimes the “click” between sizes isn’t super smooth, so you kinda have to wiggle it a bit. Padding is comfy, though it can feel a little bulky for kids with narrow feet. The ankle support is good for beginners, but not stiff enough for serious hockey stuff. Blades come sharp, but a few people say they still needed a quick touch‑up before real skating. The buckle + Velcro + laces combo is secure, but takes a minute to get used to when you’re rushing to the rink. Otherwise, this is great for the beginner kid with room to grow. Maybe have this as a back up set.

These adjustable ice skates have been a total win for getting the kids on the ice without a big price hit — the price is stellar for what you get! They’re easy to adjust as the feet grow, and the electroplated color-changing blades add a fun flair that the kids love both outdoors and at the rink. I had them sharpened once since picking them up a few months back, and they’ve held up great through family skate sessions. Solid comfort, real performance, and tons of smiles. Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 (5 stars — functional, fun, and great value!)
