I consider Adidas to be the brand I favor. However, I was disappointed with this particular shoe. The mesh provides a constant pressure on the foot, and while comfortable at first, it also can be annoying. I think that the mesh could also tear easily. And the big toe isn't really protected which makes it vulnerable. The base of the shoe's tongue is attached in a way that makes it roll up on the sides when you're trying to put the shoe on. So you have to reach in and flatten it out so it won't bunch up on your foot.

This sneaker is very light and the cushions are great. My wife likes it and she can run/walk in it comfortably. It feels as great as other Adidas sneakers she tried.

I'm not usually a sneakers person, because I don't like to wear shoes and sneakers always feel so heavy on my feet. But lately, I've been thinking I needed better footwear for walking in, so I thought I would try these. I tried them on as soon as the package arrived, and I've been wearing them all day without even noticing that they're on my feet! They hug my feet in just the right places without pinching, and there seems to be a good amount of support in the soles to cushion my feet when I walk. I've only had them for about a day, so I'll come back to update if they take a turn for the worse (in other words, if you see this review months from now and there's no update, you can assume I'm still happy with the way they fit and feel). I do wish they weren't so plain looking. I am not usually a big fan of the boring neutral colors (though I understand that's a better bet from a business standpoint, as plain gray goes with more than a bright green would or something), but I can dress these up with fun shoelaces if the boring color starts to bring me down.
