So, obviously from the pictures, you can see I'm an adult woman. I figured out years ago, when looking for a pair of Adidas slides actually, that a women's size 7.5-8 correlates to a Big kid size 6. Kids shoes are usually cheaper & sometimes you find some very cute styles. My mom has small feet, size 5-5.5. She would always checks the kids section when we go shoe shopping, but I never realized there were kids sizes big enough to fit me as well. After making that discovery, I've gotten a couple pairs of slides & sandals in a Big Kid size 6. Checking kids shoes is not something I do on a regular basis, I definitely can't find 4" heels in 'big kid" sizes lol, but I saw these sneakers & really liked them. They are actually some of my favorite sneakers. These Adidas Kaptir 4.0's are very lightweight. You don't feel this heavy shoe the way others can be. The sole gives a great amount of cushion & support, but the material isn't that heavy rubber. The bottom has good tread. You're not going to slide in these or loose traction. They would probably be really nice for running or days at the gym. I really like the design of the shoe. The speckles on the outsole is adorable, that's one of the things that drew me to this shoe. I like having the Adidas name on the shoe tongue. If you're getting these for your child, I know how much most kids like visible branding. There are a few other cool options available as well in this shoe, bring colors, etc. They are styled really well. The angle of the shoe sole gives the shoe a streamlined look. The laces are sturdy & easy to tie. I don't have any issues with them coming untied during the day. The tongue of the shoes can't be "opened". It's attached to the rest of the shoe on both sides. That's not my favorite design, & you do have to pull a bit harder to get the shoe on, but once they are on they feel secure & supportive to your feet. There is a loop on he back of the heel to help pull them on also. I walked in these all day, multiple days, with no issues at all. I had plenty of room in the toe box, didn't have to "break them in" at all & my feet felt great at the end of the day. I'm going to really enjoy having these sneakers. They are reasonably priced, especially if you're an adult like me & used to paying adult shoe prices lol.

These shoes are a hybrid between traditional and slip on design. There’s no shoe tongue. Instead, it’s made of elastic cool material that stretches when you insert your feet into them. There’s also laces so you can further tighten them if it’s still loose. My son says it’s super comfortable. The size runs a bit large so order down a size if your kids a on the smaller side. A few cons.. First, the sole feels more plasticky than grippy rubber. At $70 at time of writing, I feel it’s not the best value for your money.

My son is very picky about shoes and these are one of the few that he will wear. He loves the all black look of these shoes, with no obvious decals or logos. They are very comfortable, and easy to slide on and off. The price is not bad- to be expected from a name brand shoe. They are durable and good quality. The kid will out grow them before the shoe wears out.

I like the look of these, but they just don’t work for my daughter. I didn’t realize before ordering that there is no way to expand the opening on this shoe, I thought they were just normal lace up style. The opening has zero stretch (at least on the pair I received) so it took a long time for my daughter to get these on. I would not say they are easy to slip on at all. Maybe over time they would stretch a bit, but I don’t know that I want to go through the difficulty of putting these on her over and over again to get to that point. Like I said before, the design is nice and they are lightweight. Not worth the price in my opinion though.

The media could not be loaded. These Adidas shoes are really cute and my child says they’re comfortable. They seem lightweight and easy to move in, which is great for active kids. The fit is good and they look just like the photos. That said, I was disappointed to see that part of the material near the toe is already starting to come apart after very little wear. It’s not a huge issue yet, but it’s definitely something to keep an eye on. For the price, I expected them to hold up a bit better.
