These are labeled as shower shoes, so I’m not surprised that there is no padding. But after wearing for a few minutes, the tops of my feet hurt. My feet are bony, so that could play a role. But I added my own padding and it worked great. They have pretty good arch support too. Check the sizing. Had to order a couple times to get it right but even after getting the right size the width was problematic. My son could not fit the 11 or 12 he is typically 11-11.5 wide or extra wide depending on brand. We went back to the adjustable adidas slide which does not hold up as well as this one but it suits his needs. ... show more
