These are a softer foam than expected. The old rubber kind dug into your feet better but the nubs would fall off. With these the nubs won’t fall off because it’s all one foam mold but it’s much softer on the feet than I would like.

**An update for my fellow plantar fasciitis folk** These slides have really helped reduce the pain. I commute 2 hours each way 5 times a week and I finally figured out that the drive is exacerbating my heel pain. Not only do I wear these around the house, but I also bought a second pair to drive in and I'm feeling relief. I've been in a great deal of pain for about 5 months, but today is the third in a row of nealy pain free days and I think these slides have something to do with it (combined with my Vive night splint, HappyStep memory foam insoles, collagen/ hyaluronic acid supplements and the nubby ball). Anyway, plantar fasciitis is the worst, but it seems like I'm finally moving towards healing and I wanted to share what's working for me so maybe it can help someone else. *** I wear a women's 8 and sometimes a 7.5. I ordered women's 8/men 7 and they fit perfectly. So the nubbies on the sole...you either love or hate. I've had these before and personally, I love them.... with and without socks. Recently, carrying a bunch of rocks in crap shoes, I was rewarded with plantar fasciitis. I'm a barefoot girl, but I can't walk around barefoot anymore, so I bought a new pair of these slides to wear around the house (the last pair I had lasted a couple years before my puppy ate them). If you battle plantar fasciitis, then you're familiar with the ball with the spiky nubby things.... these shoes are kinda like walking on that ball...in a good way! There's also a bit of arch support. If you have plantar fasciitis, you will probably get some relief! I liked these even when my feet were healthy and happy, but they did take getting used to... I only wore them with socks at first. Good luck!

I wear a size 7 - 7.5 narrow and these fit perfectly. They're lighter weight than the ones I used to own when I was younger, and will be less durable. But they'll be fine for a while.

Adissage are not made nearly as well as all the older ones were before Adidas cheapened them, but they are still an enjoyable wearing experience (I just wish they kept making them the same, even if they had to charge more for them!!!). The caveat with all the newer ones (besides not lasting as well and being much lighter weight) is that you don't know what you'll get when you order. Some have defects, some are shorter in length than others of the same size, and on many, the right foot will be a tad different length than the left foot. All kinds of cheap-o manufacturing problems like that, and more. You may need to return and re-order until you get a satisfactory pair. Also, they charge too much now for the lesser quality they're making. But they are still a comfortable shoe to wear, nonetheless, and they are sized very generously, so you will have plenty of room in them (some people will need to size down, depending on your foot size and personal preference).

I’ve worn these types of shoes- slip on sandals - because I had discovered my inherited diabetes and by the acupressure points on bottom of feet I am able to keep the blood flowing with every step. Impressively i learned in my early 20s a day computer worker lost eye sight and especially his type of shoes with his working next to me after months admitted the disease took his toes too. In my fear plus my bone spurs by X-rays keep me wearing regular tennis shoes but these like no other shoes works at this time. Only one negative is the quality of the rubber uses different than tougher chemistry once 10 years they manufactured. Unfortunately they wear down those nobbies too soon now.
