okay so one of my feet is slightly larger than the other, only like a quarter maybe half size, making shoe shopping difficult sometimes.. not often bc with sneakers and other closed toe shoes, it’s not usually a problem, it’s really only slides. anyway i’m a women’s 8.5 sometimes 9. if they only have whole sizes, 95% of the time I go with 9 and rarely an 8. i’ve never in my life bought shoes larger than a 9. it’s worth noting I recently bought two new adidas superstar sneakers in a 9 and I wear them when I want comfort bc they fit so well. that was maybe 6 months ago and I’m grown so they are not changing. I order the 9 (men’s 8/womens 9) and my left foot looks fine but the bigger foot is giving me pause. the shoes themselves were the exact length as my actual foot, leaving no room at the toe or heel, and my feet fit perfectly in the indentations of a foot.. but they just didn’t feel right. I walked around my carpet for a little bit and caught my toes hanging past the actual shoe and basically in mid air. At that moment I knew I needed to size up to a 10 which is crazy to me. The 10 got here today and fits much better, even though now it’s a little big on my smaller foot, but not enough to cause a problem. I’m just shocked i’m wearing a size 10 bc im 40 years old.. lol i’ve been buying shoes for quite some time and never once in my life did I need to size up to a 10. Surprisingly the 10s aren’t noticeably bigger all around, like in the actual strap that holds your feet. I love these slides, always have, I just don’t ever remember having to buy a 10. Personally, I think it’s because of the unisex sizing- men’s and women’s shoes are more than one size different. It’s closer to a size and a half. my parents had a shoe store for like 15 years so I promise you I know what I’m talking about. anyway I would absolutely recommend sizing up one whole size unless you know for a fact what size you wear in these specific shoes. ... show more

Prior to my current purchase, I had been using a set of Adidas Sliders that velcro across the top, and have the "fingers" that are lined across the flat surface that the bottom of my foot rests on (more of a "sports" type of a slider). So when I purchased these new sliders, I had thought they were similar to those (regarding the velcro and the "fingers"); however, I've found that this new pair has an arch support, the surface is smooth, and it has ridges that contour along the bottom of my foot. The piece that runs horizontally across the top of my foot is one solid piece; so I'm unable to tighten/loosen them. However, having said this, I was surprised to find that they fit me perfectly! I have a size 6.5 foot (women's), with a medium width across the top of my foot, and a narrow heel. The size that I purchased for these Sliders is a Women's 5. These are just the right length; nice and light, and easy to walk around in -- they don't slide/slip on surfaces, and are very comfortable. Since these are a lighter shoe, I plan to use these mostly as "house" shoes. I've just ordered myself a second pair -- and I would definitely recommend these shoes to others who are looking for a "shower" or "house" shoe. ... show more

    • I NEED TO BUY SLIDES MADE FOR WOMEN IN THE CORRECT SIZE

It's an inexpensive slide. It's fine. I am writing this review as I wear an 8 and based on other comments, I sized up to a 9. I definitely didn't need a size 9. I should have ordered an 8 but I will keep the 9. I wanted a slide to run bags to the trash, pick up the mail, etc. It is fine. I definitely wouldn't try to drive or walk anywhere in these. Not sure I would walk around a wet shower floor in this 9. Not only is the bed of the shoe too large, but the amount of space I have between my foot and the strap (bandage upper) of the shoe makes it difficult to walk. I really hated these at first, even tried to return them. But I missed my window to return and started wearing them more and now I wear them everyday and can't imagine not having them. My issues at first were the strap had sharp edges from manufacturing and the sandal was really stiff. I took 400 grit sandpaper and sanded the strap edges down, and overtime your feet mold into the sandal. So give it a chance if you don't like it. ... show more
