My sons’ elementary school had to shut off water fountains due to covid, so the kids all had to bring water bottles from home, and my oldest son’s backpack- a 20 year old Jansport that was previously my favorite backpack ever- didn’t have a water bottle pocket on the outside, which was the only problem with it. I didn’t want to have him carry it on the inside and risk it leaking on papers, folders, or his school-issued iPad, so I looked everywhere for a backpack that met all my criteria. Had to have the water bottle pocket on the outside, but I also wanted it to look great, have organization on the inside for pens/pencils, etc, and be something that was durable enough to last for a long time, as we have had our share of backpacks purchased in September that didn’t last till Christmas break. This one totally fit the bill and then some! It was so awesome for my 5th grader that I bought one in a different color for my 1st grader when his cheap backpack broke after less than 3 months of use. This is one that they can grow into; there is a fleece-lined pocket for sunglasses or a cell phone when they get older, which we currently use for their snack, an attached keychain holder so they don’t lose keys if and when they need them, a padded laptop sleeve at the back of the main compartment, and tons of room. I also love the bungee on the outside, which I have used to keep their tennis shoes outside the backpack in the winter when they have to wear snow boots but change to shoes at school so they don’t get water/mud/sand all over the inside of the backpack and whatever else is in there. This is the best backpack I have found, and I’m a little jealous that I didn’t have one when I was in school lol! ... show more

Every year we get a new back pack for school. Always too big, or too small or not enough pockets, etc. This is the best one yet in Junior year. Best size overall and comfort for carrying and holds all a Highschool Junior needs, including extra clothing for sports.

This is a PERFECT backpack. There are several features which make it extremely comfortable to wear - load spring strap, padding, ventilated back. I’ve owned this same backpack for 5+ years and needed a replacement due to HEAVY wear and tear - daily commuting during college (with heavy textbooks, electronics, and tools), traveling, day trips, attending festivals, and hiking. The load spring strap is my favorite feature - it’s like shock absorption for your shoulders. I’ve worn this backpack at festivals for 10+ hours a day and it still is comfortable, despite getting a little sweaty when the weather is extremely hot. Plenty of storage and I love the small pockets for organizing small items and electronics. The drink pockets are mesh but have a canvas bottom so my water bottle would never fall straight through or rip the pocket. I added key rings on the shoulder straps to allow easy clipping on of carabiners - most often clipping on keys, AirPod case, or dog leash to walk hands-free. The front pocket with the buckle is great for strapping on a blanket, travel pillow, or jacket when not wearing it. I purchased my 1st backpack from a Nordstrom Rack for $50 and it got me 5+ years of heavy wear and tear. I was happy to find the same bag on amazon for the same price. If this new bag lasts me 5 more years I will happily search for a replacement when needed because I never want to wear a different backpack again! Sadly this bag is discontinued and no longer available through adidas. In addition to how great this bag is - the seller was awesome and responded quickly when I was unable to locate the package after delivery. They helped me figure out where it was delivered to and explained what to do if I was unable to find it. Luckily I was able to find it - USPS stuffed it into my apartment complex’s weird mailbox system instead of delivering it to my door where packages are usually dropped off. I bought this backpack for my daughter and she loves it. She says it is by far the Best backpack she ever had. It’s cute and durable. It also had a ton of pockets! She is an eight grader and it can fit all of her school books and binders. I am editing this because the strings broke.
