Got these in "core black/cloud white/core black" size 12... For those wondering what "core black" is compared to "black"... they're basically charcoal/dark gray. I have another similar style of Addidas (Grand Court 2.0) in black so I'm glad these aren't as dark. As for sizing... they are true to size... no need to size up, BUT.... if you have wide or chubby feet, you may want to consider something else. My feet aren't and although they fit great, there is very little extra room in the toe area. I also wear thin dress socks, so I'm guessing it would be even worse with tube socks. I took a star off for that, but overall these look great and are comfortable on my normal sized feet. YMMV. ... show more

I bought these for my son a year and a half ago. He is EXTREMELY hard on shoes and they usually only last a couple of months before falling apart with casual wear. I have been so impressed with these because they have truly been put through the wringer and are still going strong. He's worn these in rain, snow, mud, yard work, 2 house remodels, and tons of other activities that are hard on shoes. They are his go-to shoe, despite me buying them to be his "nice pair" lol. I've washed these countless times, they're as "easy" to wash as any other shoe I suppose, but they hold up very well. I put different insoles in them because that's usually the first thing that he wears through. We've been through several sets of insoles. The heel is starting to wear out inside, but the outside of the shoe is still intact. We just had to replace the original laces because he wore those out. The sole of the shoe still has tread and for him that's miraculous. They must be very comfortable because these are his "go-to" shoes in all situations. I will probably get him another pair for his birthday and retire these to be "working outside" shoes. They still look nice enough to pass as his "nice shoes". I just wish I could figure out how to repair the hole that has rubbed in the heel. That's something I'll have to research. I can definitely see these lasting him another few years. ... show more

Couldn't find the design I'd purchased in the past from Adidas, good chance it's no longer in production/went out of style. This was the next closest find and satisfactory to me. Only been wearing for barely a day but so far feels good walking in, looks fashionable, and matches with my everyday outfits. Fingers crossed it lasts me as long as the old ones did (which was around 3 years). ... show more
