I'll admit, I wasn't expecting a hard-working boot from a fashion-focused brand like Adidas, but I was pleasantly proven wrong. This boot is super warm, fits snugly (which is, in my opinion, the way to go) and waterproof. They arrived and a day later were pressed into service in Upstate NY in January. I wasn't let down! Plus, the break-in period is less than a day. This boot definitely gets the all-around bang for your buck award. I would recommend these boots to anyone needing something simple, warm, and long-lasting. Love these boots!

The shoe looks just like the online pictures, and it was perfect for my size (12 medium). It is easy to pull on and off. The lacing is well thought-out and efficient. I especially appreciate the angled pull tab. The fit is right in the middle of size 12 fits in my experience, and there's just enough support to be comfortable without noticing it. They seem to be at least as well-made as my old Adidas which they replace, and if I can get similar service, I will be very happy.

I purchased this model Adidas AX3 to replace the smaller fitting R2 Gore-Tex model MID length shoe. I have purchased the shoe version and loved the comfort. I loved them so much I wanted a pair that would hold up to Chicago's Spring and fall weather and our travel adventures in nature. They run small but break in very well after use. Just make sure that the initial fit is as close as you can get.

The shoes look really good like in the pictures and the materials are of good quality, they just do not fit right. I ordered my regular size and that was okay, but the problem is that the front end is too narrow. I have never had to buy wide shoes or boots so it is not that my feet are wide, it’s the shoes that are narrow and that is very uncomfortable, so I had to return them.

These shoes are way way small and definitely not Adidas quality or comfort. They came with multiple marks and glue coming out of the seams. Looks like they were made in someones garage.

These shoes cured my plantar fascitis. As an obese woman, I could not wear soft altra shoes anymore so switched to these as I had found them secondhand in a store called Next Adventure store in Oregon, and they fit when I used to wear men's size 11 shoes. I have a wide forefoot and very large toes as well. My feet increased in size, I outgrew my hiking boots before I was done with them, and purchased these in a men's 14. People who have seen my feet do not think I should wear a men's 14, but I have to wear this size. I have a large instep and a wide forefoot and they work for me. I also have found nikes and addidas accomodate my heel shape while other shoe styles like altra cut my heels and leave them bleeding. These really were the perfect shoes for me for my extended walking. I dont ever want to take them off/retire them, even though I have two other brand new addidas terrex shoes, I can't bear to say goodbye to these. As another reviewer said, they were stiff as concrete, and this is absolutely NEEDED for me at 250lbs, otherwise I get plantar fascitis. I bought SOLE leather and cork insoles with my first purchase of these, I think size mens 11 and put them in over the factory insole. If they weren't stiff they would break down and be unwearable. Ive had these since mid december and its close to the end of April and it is time to retire them, unfortunately. I walk four to six miles a day in them every day. I hope the company leaves these wonderful hiking boots exactly as they are for people who need stiff shoes that are high quality and last a long time.

I needed a good pair of boots for work I do alot of walking. I love everything Adidas that I own (boost, NMD, Tublars...) so I thought these would be a no brainer for me. I'm pretty disappointed in the fit. I wear a size 13 and these run TIGHT! So tight if I got another pair I'd consider going up a full size at least. I'm going to try giving them another week or so to stretch out and break in but I don't know. However the grip is amazing on them as is the step feeling. Very light and well made again just super small.
