it was a cheap golf shoe. the bottom is stiff like other golf shoes for stability. yes the back heal area seems a bit stiff but did not cause a problem for me. for the price i think it's a good value and comfort is okay for me. i purchased other athletic wide shoes (NB, fitville, asics) and was disappointed with toe box. these are wide and do not pinch my toes even with thick socks. i like the wide fit on these and would purchase again in future. value 5/5. fit/comfort 5/5. appearance 5/5. beathability 5/5. durability (unknown) seem well made. ... show more
