The Superstar is one of those sneakers that stands the test of time as a beloved classic. Particularly the white colorway with the black adidas stripes and the gold accents. Although for people feeling adventurous the other colorways are a nice change of pace too, but I like the neutral look of the "standard" pair. The Superstar may look a bit odd in photos and even in hand with the contentious/notorious rubber shelltoe box, but I think it's part of the charm/personality of the shoe. This is actually my first time owning a pair, but I've had friends in the past that would rock them. I just finally decided after all this time that I wanted to see how they were for myself. And I've found myself becoming a bit more of an adidas sneakers guy recently. Have heavily worn out a black pair of NMD R1s that I should consider retiring, and currently own all-white Stan Smiths. If you're wondering the Superstar look way better on foot in terms of the polarizing shelltoe box I was mentioning earlier. I think one of the nicest aspects of them are how versatile they are with various fits. You can definitely dress them up a bit and also dress them down (Looking like a bum in some baggy sweats and a hoodie), and still look "good". Also they fit true-to-size (As far as other adidas sneakers go) with maybe just a very small extra bit of breathing room in the toe box. Overall a well made and good looking sneaker especially for the price. I was luckily able to snag these bad boys here in my size for just under 50$ shipped including sales tax. It almost feels like a steal to me considering how classic lifestyle sneakers have been sneakily getting more expensive over time (MSRP-wise) like the AF1. Anyways I don't regret this purchase and these will be slotted in my daily rotation for the long term, hope that they will last many seasons of wear with me.

These fit nice and snug. What I did not expect was that the leather was treated and soft supple. Most importantly, they were already tied n laced ready to go. That being said, I am usually an 8.5 These are 9 and fit me just right. Maybe my weight gain or age got me a need for a bigger size. These are what I remembered the shoes to be, not exactly wide toed, but supple n soft enough for my fat feet. I am definitely buying online after this purchase, get easier deals, they maintain their shoes correctly. And no angst teenager getting me the wrong shoe size or asking what size I wanted again.

Wanted to love em. Tried to love em. But just not meant to be. I got these crazy frog toes that like to splay out when I walk/stand/do anything. Bought my actual size (12 US) and way too tight. Moved up a half size. Still too tight. Moved up a FULL size (13 US). Still just tight enough on the pinkie toe (lil piggie) that it was an annoyance and couldn't get totally comfortable in em. If not for the narrowness, these babies were smooth, sexy, clean, light weight and comfortable. They just need to be available in wide for us hobbit folk. Same thing happened to me when I bought Forums a year ago. Unfortunately I held on to them too long, so now they sit unused in a dark corner of my domain. ADIDAS, WHY DO YOU HATE PEOPLE WITH TOES?!

Very unique style. Well made, durable. Don't break easily. Was my style ever since like 04'. Classic sneakers. Way better than air forces or dunks the way that they don't crease in the front. Definitely worth it
