They are made of a nice athletic type fabric that wicks well, so he could definitely wear these under his board shorts for swimming as well without them getting sodden and weighted down. After he wore these a couple of days, he had me order another package so these are great! They were also a good price compared to others, I think they worked out to about $7 a pair. I would say remember these are underwear so you may want a smaller size than, for example, the pants you wear. These are my favorite! I think it’s the polyester-spandex blend. Breathable and comfortable. I prefer the 9inch inseam as opposed to the 5 inch. I purchased adidas before. They were mesh. Just ok. Especially great for the price

Needed sport boxer brief particularly with longer inseam in order to protect my thighs from chafing during long trail running. These appear to be what I am looking for. The package is supposed to include three LONG boxer briefs, but upon arrival I found one of them is a regular length (c.a. 5-inch inseam, as shown in photo). I am not going to have the time to exchange or return as the target running event is coming and I still need use the (2) longer pairs.
