I love these shoes! Make sure to get these kind if you like the grey suede at the top. Made a few mistakes by accidentally ordering adidas that were cloud instead of granite! ** For women to men sizing - I would highly recommend (especially if you have a long foot) getting two sizes down from men sizes to get an accurate size / nice fit. Most stores suggest sizing 2 sizes down in men’s to fit a women’s shoe size (for example I’m a 10 women, and usually go for a 8 or 8.5 men size to get the correct fit. However, adidas say they run a bit small so they recommend only sizing down one. The shoe recommendation for my size 10 women’s, was a 9 men’s. They fit totally fine, but definitely could have gone down to 8.5 or even 9. Not complaining because it is nice to have room especially if I want to wear thick socks. My only personal issue is that because they are already a narrow looking shoe, the size 9 men’s makes my feet look very long and big lol. Again, do your own research but as someone with narrow (not wide) feet, I probably would have gone with an 8.5 men’s. Lovely shows though, and very happy with them overall!! These are the real deal, and are definitely not fake so I wouldn’t worry if other reviews have said that because mine came in a branded box and with tags. My only reason for giving it a 4 star is because of the price. I would get them directly from the brand and pay a lot less. I had to get these in time for a vacation, so it was nice for the convenience and reliability aspect of prime shipping. I have heard the brand shipping can take a long time (occasionally) so was super nice that I only had to wait 2 days for them to arrive. Overall, probably would have waited the extra time to get them from the store simply due to lower price and discount codes, if I wasn’t in a rush.

I had worn my last pair of Sambas literally thru the sole, holes & all (thought I'd spare you the gross, run down pics of the old pair HA)! When I finally gave in & NEEDED a new pair though, this seller had a discount at the time, making it completely worth while to just click & buy on the spot! I know my exact SZ (8.5) & since the price dropped even further a week later, i decided to spring for a SECOND pair! Not only a second pair for myself BUT my husband was long since past due for a new pair himself, so I tossed a third pair in for him & voila! Total score! They arrived REALLY quick AND since my husband has incredibly wide feet (like I'm talkin' EE wide!), I wasn't sure what size to pick for him, so I just guessed & went with a full size larger than he usually wears. Thankfully, they fit PERFECTLY! Since they are new leather, they are snug & in the past he'd always had second hand or hand me down Sambas so I was glad this brand new pair fit so well! (By the way, there's been tons of speculation from reviewers/customers that bought these sneakers, thinking these are knock offs & unfortunately, after researching adidas on their actual site, adidas.com & the change in Sambas, the difference is on THEIR end, not this sellers! They have chosen to cut corners/cost & use alternative materials so they don't look like the older school versions [which is a shame & obviously we all prefer the older version because they are so much more polished & fine detailed], making them not AS GREAT as they were but not terrible! Just thought I'd throw my two cents in.) :) - Satisfied customer

The first pair I was sent had hair (you can guess what kind), dead leaves, and other debris inside. The tags were still on, but they looked very worn and creased already. I contacted Amazon for a replacement that came a few days later. The first pair was seriously gross, and obviously had been previously returned -- It's hard to believe Amazon chose to resell those. The replacements are much cleaner. I can still tell someone has tried them on, but they're new. Only the paper was missing from the toe inside the shoe prior to trying them on. The shoes themselves look very similar to the OG Samba, but as others have pointed out the gold Samba lettering is printed on, and not embossed. Additionally, there is no leaf on the back. The materials seem much thinner. Upon further inspection, I can see light coming in at the toe, on the inside, at the seam where the leather meets the rubber of the sole. Also, the cut of the leather is irregular. It is only noticeable inside one shoe, and not important enough to make me send them back again, but it is definitely irregular. I've checked and these are the same Samba OG line being sold by other retailers. Adidas has cut some corners and slightly altered the Samba. They are authentic; they just aren't the same quality that I had grown up with. At this price point, the quality should be much better. I don't expect these to hold up or last long. I won't be purchasing another pair, and I will not be recommending the Samba OG to anyone else.
