I got these adidas Kaptir 3.0 sneakers for my boyfriend’s birthday, and he unpacked them during our summer trip to New Orleans. He actually picked them out himself, so no surprise—he loved them right away! He wore them every day for the 6 days we were in NOLA, and since we were playing tourist, we walked a lot. He said they were super comfortable right out of the box—no break-in needed. What really stood out to him was how breathable they were, even in the hot, humid summer weather. His feet stayed cool and didn’t get sweaty, which says a lot for a shoe worn nonstop in the South! He also mentioned that the sneakers give him an extra inch in height, which he definitely appreciated! Now, almost 10 months later, he still wears them for work almost daily and says they’re his favorite sneakers. They’re still in great condition—clean, no rips or tears, and the soles are holding up well. Plus, They’re also easy to toss in the laundry for a refresh. Very lightweight and comfortable shoe. I’ve found this particular pair to be durable and good quality. They’re easy to slip on and off. My husband and son both have a pair of these and love them. The variety of colors is nice as well. I find they fit true to size.

Over the last couple years I’ve become a huge Adidas fan. Love these shoes. Great for the gym. Highly recommend if you want comfort and support. They fit perfectly and are made of durable material that does not wear out easily.

    • Comfortable but tear holes quickly

I loved these shoes but thus will be my 3rd and last time buying them. They just keep tearing holes on the big toe and pinky toe area just from normal use. You'd have to do your best to not damage them which is kidm of lame. Though they don't last that long before tearing holes, (2-3 months) for me at least. I enjoyed the breathable material a lot. Sadly though after the third pair started to tear holes I decoded to try another brand or model. Overall, great shoe if you use it for light running or walks, not for extended use or every day use in my opinion. ... show more

They are overall true to size, but you can size down 0.5 if you want. I'm an extra-wide (EE), and the wide size fits my feet perfectly. The laces have a nice sparkle to them. While I'm not a fan of the large adidas branding, it's not noticeable. The allblack version is a solid color black minimalist shoe. Most shoes are not comfortable for me. They run big. My perfect fit is a 10 wide for this shoe, my previous pair of Nike Roshes was a perfect fit at size 11 1/2. However, these shoes are perfect, especially because they aren’t overly expensive. Very comfy. Photo shows the adidas next to my old Nike pair of roshes

    • Pleasantly Surprised By the Kaptir 3.0

I really liked the Kaptir 2.0, even more so than these new Kaptir 3.0. That said these 3.0, Kaptir, are pretty amazing. They fit well, no “breaking in period,” as was the case with the previous three pair of Kaptir, shoes I purchased. The previous pairs were stiff, not moldable to my feet and very uncomfortable. I gave them (brand new), to Salvation Army. These black/grey Kaptir 3.0, will be staying in my collection. Incredibly comfortable and good looking. *Cons about the buying experience (not the shoes themselves)- I was excited to find these shoes for my husband, highly discounted; but did not realize I was buying shoes that were already worn before. I’ve shared photos of what they looked like, immediately after opening the package from Amazon- just not happy about the fact that I thought I was buying BRAND NEW shoes, which these were obviously not! Since he needed the shoes now, I decided to not return them, but just wanted to leave this review to let others know what I experienced. Yes, the price was a great deal and the shoes are comfortable and no tread is noticeably gone, but the dog shit on the bottom and a big spot on the top of one shoe…is just unacceptable. I have purchased things that were used before and have no problem with that, but after double checking myself, I realized that was not the case this time, with these shoes. *Pros- These Adidas are the second pair I’ve bought, for the ease of slip-on feature and the option to purchase in a wide width…super convenient and very comfortable! The bottoms feel like they’d be slippery, but my husband says they’re really not. The insoles are not as soft as his other pair (different style), but he says they feel like they’ll be more durable! So I’d definitely leave a 5 star review for the shoes themselves, but 3-star was given simply because they were not new, as described. ... show more
