I bought these for my teenage son, who plays tennis. They have an extra piece of tough leather like material covering the outside edge of the widest part of the foot (where you would have a bunion if you had bunions). This is an area where he always destroyed his other shoes. He'd always get a hole in them after a month or maybe 6 weeks. These are tougher and have been holding up much better to the wear and tear of playing tennis in them. I had previously bought him a pair of court shoes, but they were flat on the bottom and he didn't like those. These are more like a regular pair of sneakers, but tougher. I really like the look and the feel of these shoes. I am wearing them for Pickleball primarily and I use them indoors and outdoors. As far as size they are right on the money. With an orthotic insert they are a little tighter but that is my choice. You may not use an orthotic insert. The quality is high as you would expect from Adidas. They are a bit heavier than I thought they would be but they probably need to be for durability outdoors. We are all getting accustomed to super light foam shoes these days and these are not super light... plus my orthotic adds some weight. That said, they are just fine. I've been buying the Gamecourt line up of shoes for many years now. These shows don't cost a lot, but still give decent support and grip the court well. I can get about 2 years of match play out of them, and then they last me another 2 years as a practice shoe. I play tennis 1-2 times a week, 8 months of the year, mixture of doubles and singles. These look like good shoes. Unfortunately, I found them tight on the top and front. Did not think they would be comfortable, so I returned them.

I really like the feel of these. They just felt a tad small and I was getting a bit more pressure on my toe than I want. I tried kicking the heel and tightening them up a bit more on the forefoot, but it didn't really help!
