  • so I keep going back to Adidas each time because they make good neutral colored designs that aren't so gaudy and silly ...
I am a 37 year old female who hates the snug feel of women's athletic shoes. I have low arches so my feet which are not that wide in reality spread out and hurt when pressing against the arch support that I find in most athletic shoes made for women. That being said, I always buy athletic shoes made for men. It is so difficult to find a neutral non crazy color or design scheme, so I keep going back to Adidas each time because they make good neutral colored designs that aren't so gaudy and silly looking on me. These shoes are awesome, I love the way they feel. So squishy in the heel area, I would like a little more squish in the ball of the foot area also, but I will take what I can get with these nice looking comfortable kicks. I work on my feet for most of the day walking up and down steps, and so far on day 4 my feet still feel pretty good at the end of the day, and my knees and legs are pampered by the soft cloud foam of the shoes. (I know it is time for new shoes when my knees start to protest. I hate getting older! Lol) I gave them 4 stars. Would have 5 except for the concern that the bottoms are not super durable with the cloud foam having nothing to protect it on the bottom. I would not take them out on trails or harsh environments really aside from runs on pavement or dirt paths because I don't want my magic foam goodness that feels so great to break down. Love the look, love the feel, durable but not for trails and so forth which is fine. They are running shoes and not trail shoes. I have gotten many compliments. Squishy perfection. :) Day 8 and still in love! I thought the white striped ones may look dirty by now, but still look new. ... show more

  • Best shoe money can buy!
I work at Famous Footwear. I was browsing our selection in the store and I happen to try these on when we had them in stock. I was a size 14 but I recently lost 100 pounds and now I’m a size 13. I have a semi wide foot. My foot is not a 4E wide width but it’s not narrow either. This shoe fits so fantastic! The mesh material on the outside makes the shoe fit snug like a big sock. It has Adiads cloudfoam insert and holy cow is it comfortable! It’s so squishy and feels so good on the feet! The shoe is also super lightweight so it’s great for anything athletic and the mesh means the shoe is super breathable too. The shoe has a molded sole on the bottom which means no more glue splitting apart and peeling of the soles, if you’ve ever owned a pair of converse you’ll know what I mean. They are super stylish and they look great with any look. I can’t say enough good things about this shoe! This will be my 3rd pair. They last me about 6 months give it take but they aren’t designed to be durable shoes. They are the most comfortable shoe I’ve ever worn and I’m waiting on the day when another shoe beats it. They no longer sell this in retail I believe so I can only get them here but I hope they make these for ever! Thanks Adidas! ... show more

  • Awesome shoe
This is, by a very wide margin, my favorite shoe any manufacturer has ever made. Yes, the soles wear out fairly quickly (about 3-4 months for me, given how much I walk), but for the meager price of $50~ish dollars that these shoes normally retailed for is worth the comfort I got for those months and the reason I kept buying new pairs whenever I could afford it. Now, sadly, it seems Adidas doesn't make them anymore so finding them in the requisite black for my job is increasingly difficult and expensive. All that said, even these navy blue ones I got this time are still outstanding. ... show more

  • My second pair.
I have an old pair of the same shoes. The reason I ordered another because it is light and comfortable to wear. Good for leisure walks, malling and everyday wear. Maybe not for running. For the price, it is pretty durable. I am still wearing my old pair. The new pair I got was manufactured 1/18, based on the tag. Looks genuine but sometimes it is hard to tell. I will see if it will hold up as long as my first pair. ... show more

  • Super Spartan effective, comfortable, decent traction, lacking in support.
Size: 12 Color: White/Black/White
I purchased these shoes as they were very highly rated for obstacle course racing and were a reasonable price too. I used them for a very sloppy Super Spartan race. They have some forward and backward facing grooves which help keep your traction in slippery situations without being full-on cleats. They have a comfortable shell and nice squishy inserts for your feet. My only negative feedback is that they're a bit loose and lacking support even when they're laced up tight. I use them for ultimate frisbee & football and have found that I don't have good control for quick stops, turns and movements. I've rolled halfway rolled my ankle a few times because of it. Overall, they're a good shoes for obstacle course racing and a great value at that. ... show more

  • Not great for weighted leg training.
These are my regular work out shoes, so I've put them through their paces from cardio to weight training. For running these shoes are solid - they breathe well and fit comfortableness. I was surprised how well they worked with their low price point. On the down side these shoes have a very smooth / slippery substance where your foot is. This is the WORST when doing incline leg presses, since your foot is essentially pushing forward / up in the shoe and you never feel sure-footed with weight above your head. Great shoe, but the slick inside stops perfection. ... show more

  • Comfortable, stylish, casual shoes. Recommended
I love the fit, feel, cushion and appearance of these shoes. Not sure I would wear these for Athletic endeavours, but I'm sure you could. I like to wear these to dress down jeans on a casual night out or family get together. The all-gray model that I got is very unique looking and I wanted something that didn't scream "SNEAKER" but something more subtle, and this delivered. Handles wear and tear okay, the knit fabric tends to get snagged if you are wearing around anything sharp, so be aware of that. For travel/daily use, I love these and would recommend them (which I did to my father!). ... show more

  • Great shoe, but feet slip to the front when walking.
I love these shoes and wear them all the time, but my feet tend to slip to the front of the shoe when I wear them. I ordered my normal size and they fit well when I’m not walking around, so I think it has something to do with the shoe being a soft cloth material. I don’t think ordering a different size would have prevented the issue. Otherwise, I recommend them. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments too! ... show more
