    • Not quite as good as the black on black version
I've bought several of these over the past few years (works great for indoor/outdoor general use). I use them for walking around the house. In general, these usually have a really good feel. The cushion lining usually feels great under foot. But for some reason, the red on black version feels a bit firmer than my black on black slides that are the same type/model. Not sure if it's just a coincidence or maybe it has something to do with the red rubber being more firmer than black because of a difference in the rubber curing, etc during manufacturing? Both of my black on black slides feel much more comfortable than these red/black do. Maybe they just take a bit longer to break in and perhaps they will feel more like the black/black versions I have. It's not an issue that makes me want to return these, but it's something to keep in mind if you've been buying several of these over the years. I'll probably buy black/black again down the road and then determine if this was just a one off issue, or perhaps the way they make these has changed. Overall, still worth it. Much better than conventional slippers. These things are every bit as huge and weighty as others have described, so keep that in mind as well if you are looking for something that is "light" on foot. ... show more

I've been buying Adidas slides for nearly 20 years and these are by far the most comfortable and durable that I've ever owned. It feels like I'm walking on a pillow. I only wear them around the house and on the patio but so far they've lasted over 6 years and will last several more. I like them so much I bought 3 more and stored them in my basement. Assuming each one lasts 7 or 8 years, I'll be wearing these into my 70's. ... show more
