I played grass volleyball in the Afterburner 8s for a couple years and was satisfied. I got these 9s in the same size and shoe is way too narrow at the front. You can actually see in person that these are pointy. After trying for about a week, they didn't stretch or break in enough to fit (the 8s and 9s are both pretty stiff in the upper), so they're a loss for me. However, the traction on grass is good, the bottoms don't usually get clogged with mud, and jumping/landing are okay. ... show more

Very very narrow, my 12 and 10 year old said they are terrible. There is a piece on the sides that make it next to impossible for them to put on without help.. very weird design.
