I thought these were thicker pants good for some warmth and softness but they are thin and polyester. If I had known that I would not have ordered them. It’s fine if you want something very light but not really what I wanted.

Bought a size 8/10 for my short/thin 11 year old and they're still way too big on him! The pants themselves seem great but they are too long and too big even with tying the drawstring. Unfortunately he will have to wait until he grows into them. My advice is size down!
