  • Great to keep armadillos out
Size: 12in(L)X12in(H)-24 Pack Black Color: Black
Very strong and sturdy wire. I drove it into the ground using a board and mallet. I like the way they connect to each other. I got the 12” fence for 2 garden areas that were being torn up by armadillos. I tried everything: eggshells (works for a week or two), various repellants also work for short periods. Problem is they are expensive. But so are all the plants not to mention all the work. I am a capable armadillo trapper also. But for every one I trap and relocate another one takes its place. Fencing was a little costly (for me), but so worth it. It’s been about a month since I installed it and not one uprooted plant. They’ve tried, but failed. Armadillos can jump but usually only when startled or chased, so I don’t expect them to jump the fence. ... show more

  • Works like a charm and I am satisfied.
I have a dog that's about the size of a French bulldog. These are very sturdy and will keep him from attempting to go under the fence. They are more sturdy than the photographs look. Using a large flat rock to pound 4 of them about 3 inches into the ground to try them out. Then I went back and attached them to the fence with black zip ties. The entire process took me about 15 minutes. I did have the box already open before I started, but I'm going to go ahead and order another box of these. As others have said, I wish they weren't quite so expensive but I was able to install these myself with minimal tools In just a few minutes. The alternative was to hire someone to help me and that would have easily been another $100 to have them put in by someone else. I think it's a brilliant way to stop your dog from being able to get under the fence. Last week there was an armadillo puttering around out in that field behind my fence during daylight hours, and it was making my dog a little nuts. He wanted to dig out of the fence. That's what made me decide to purchase these animal barriers. I definitely want to keep my dog inside the fence and the critters outside of the fence! ... show more

  • Don’t hammer in hard ground
Works fine but welds break when hammered. Recommend wetting ground then hammering in with piece of wood same length. I hammered on alternating vertical spikes and broke off welds.

  • Exceptional Quality!
Size: 12in(L)X12in(H)-10 Pack Green Color: Green
This product is built very well. The green color matches nicely to the greens in the backyard around the fence. Will keep the cats from crawling under the fence.

  • These solved my problem.
I have a 90-pound dog who digs under the fence to get out. He is obsessed with the wildlife on the other side, and he digs until he can wiggle himself under. I am not a handy person, but I put a ton of these in around the fence, using a small mallet. I saw that he tried to dig out again, and he was stopped by the barriers. Yes, they are expensive, but so far they are worth the money. I love that rotten little escape artist, and I don't want him running off. ... show more

  • Protecting chicken coop
I hammered these into the ground using a soft hammer around the base of my chicken enclosure to give added protection from digging predators. They are very nice looking and solid. With this fencing along with bricks and the steel mesh that I embedded in the ground, I rest easy that I have adequate protection to keep predators away from my flock. I am very happy with this product. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 stars is that I bought 2 sets and this was expensive. ... show more
