I like that it has a big mouth opening, easy for rinsin and filling. The hose connector is great to leave on the hose, the only issue I have it when I screw it on, it dangles but seems to be loose so I have to kinda hold the bottom part. But for hooking up to the hose, it's not bad, not alot of pressure as a pressure washer, but it'll make do for what you got. If you pair it up with Chemicals Guy's Mr. Pink Soap, it works great ... show more

So, I bought this version to replace my Chemical Guys Foam Gun (the more expensive one), so I wasnt expecting it to be as good, the reason I was replacing the Chemical Guys version was it started leaking horribly after a couple years of use. Used it for the first time last week, and heres my thoughts.. 1. Dont use any of the metering tips, I used the yellow one at first which was recommended for the most foam, and it was so little foam I was able to go around the car and still have more than half the bottle full of solution, if you dont use any tips it is much thicker foam which is the whole reason for using one of these, I was still able to go around my GTI with some solution to spare. 2. The hose spray nozzle was very difficult to screw into my expanding hose, it took a good 10 minutes just to get the thread to line up, and then it only was able to screw down 1 or 2 turns, leaving a big gap of threads, thankfully it didnt leak as I expected it would but we will see how that holds up. Once hooked up, it worked as good as can be expected for this price, the foam was thick without the metering tip installed, I use armor all snow foam soap which is like 7 bucks for a large bottle as opposed to the "premium" brands soaps, heres a secret, it works just as good! I can say for the difference in price, the chemical guys higher end foam gun isnt worth the extra $$ and this one works just fine for what it costs, just have to see if it holds up for a couple years like the more expensive one did (I wash my car 1-2 times a week 9 months a year) ... show more

I have the Chemical Guys (CG) foam gun and now this one. I got the Adam's one to keep on the boat, I was curious if this was as good or better than the CG foam gun I have for the cars at home. So, here we go. The Adam's unit is.... strange. They use some standard red hose nozzle, and put a very bulky quick connect on the threads of the standard hose nozzle to connect it to the foam tank. When using it to spray water without the foam gun, this yields a better spray pattern for the water, but any other time it is large and just seems odd to me. Now let's talk foam action. This unit is not adjustable, the CG unit is. The Adam's unit produces an equally nice foam as the CG unit set on the max ratio. If you dont need/want to adjust the ratio they are both fine as far as foam goes. However, be warned it will suck a tank of soap down in 1-1.5 minutes. If that's your style, then you will be happy. If it need to be adjustable is a topic of debate. Most people I know with the CG unit, leave it on max so that feature may just be a nice toy and not really needed. The overall build quality of the Adam's unit is fine, nothing special, nothing terrible. The bulky quick connect will likely be the point of failure, one too many drops on the driveway and I'm sure it will crack. At that point you won't be able to connect the tank to the nozzle so it is no longer usable, just keep that in the back of your mind. ... show more
