Ever since the onslaught of Covid 19, and no longer able to get my acrylic manicures, I have battled with my layering, dry, cracking nails. Even when nail salons were able to open again, all I could find was gel manicures, and they didn't last as I felt they should. I can easily do a manicure myself, I'm retired, have the time. This little acrylic kit was adorable and easy to use. The smell was not overpowering, which was great for me because I have four kids and I’m used to doing nails in the salon. I need to do my nails at home because I’m not working in a salon, I just had a baby And it didn’t seem to agitate my husband or my children. I will write another review to see if the acrylic held up I will say this I’ve been doing nails since 2010 and I took a break for five years because I got married started having kids And I used to use acid primer. I’ve never used acid free primer in this kit comes with that so I’m really curious to see how that holds up. ... show more

If you have any kind of allergy to toxic nail stuffs or gels etc., never buy this. I am allergic to gel nail polishes and have treated my nails twice. Now I'm looking for a healthy alternative to UV nail polishes so I decided to give it a try. Once I put it on my nails (following the instructions), I noticed the cuticle had enlarged and started to itch! I'm not sure what caused it - nail prep, the powder, or the top coat (which is too sticky and never dries), but I decided not to wait for a strong allergy reaction and removed the acrylic powder from my nails. For a beginner this powder is slow enough to work with but fast enough a professional isn't waiting forever. I really would love to be able to buy just the powder and not have to buy a whole kit so I guess that would be my only complaint! Very clear instructions, this was my first time every attempting and it was easier than I thought it would be . The top coat is extremely sticky so I had to use a different kind but the quality of products are great.
