Description

With ACER Racing's National and World Champion reputation in the high performance ball bearing industry we set out to engineer the best high performance Ceramic Bearing upgrade kit for the Boosted Board from our World Famous Ceramic Nitride Pro Series bearing collection. This bearing kit will allow your Boosted Board to spin smoother, faster & longer and is much more durable than the stock bearings. First we started with our tried and tested Ceramic Nitride Pro Series silicon nitride balls (Si3N4). The same super hard balls that gave us the reputation as "the hardest balls in the industry." These balls are matched for consistent concentricity per set. They are polished using diamonds for a super smooth and shiny finish. Their durability is unmatched by any other ball or material in the industry. With a melting temperature of 2552 degrees F and the best modulus of elasticity in the world, these are the best balls period. We use our special synthetic and American ACER Racing SIN oil lubrication in our ceramic skate bearings which has an extremely wide service temperature range of from -50 to +120 degrees Celsius with an incredible speed factor of 1 million. We integrate our HSR inner ball bearing cage for durability and strength with superior heat resistance at high RPMs. This insures that your Boosted Board will spin faster, longer and more smoothly. We seal our ACER SK8 Ceramic Boosted Board bearings with two no contact grey seals which will resist the elements while allowing simple removal for easy cleaning when necessary. Each seal is embossed with our trademark "ACER RACING CERAMIC" logo to insure that you are receiving the original ACER Racing Ceramic ball bearings. The V1 Boosted Board Bearing kit comes with 10 bearings and the V2 Boosted Bearing kit uses only 8 bearings so it comes with 8 total bearings. Washers and spacers that come with your Boosted Board can be reused.

  • Much better spin with these bearings.
The bearing arrived quickly and fit my V2 board perfectly. I was surprised at the poor quality of the stock Boosted bearings. After installing the ceramics I saw a big improvement - just give the front wheel a spin and it seems to go forever. The board feels like it rides smoother and glides longer with no power. We'll see how they hold up over the next few months. ... show more

  • Lower resistance, but higher noise
I have been building skateboards and longboard for people for 10-20 years and bone Swiss ceramic is still the envy of all riders I put these bearing in my boosted v2 after an entire cleaning and belt swap... And spun the free wheels and it just kept going... And going and going... Even better then after a clean and re lube of the OG bearings... It was awesome to see the wheels just NOT stop Next morning I had to grab some eggs and Begals for breakfast... Hopped on the boosted... And it felt awesome, seem to have a little more "boost" (pun slightly intended) when throttling up.... And these deffinitly increased my ability to coast longer.... For performance reasons... I give these bearings 5 stars Now for the subtraction of a star.... They are loud, my reactionary thought is no lube, but they are definitely lubed.... I have never heard bearings with such a Loud chattering sound as you ride... It slightly concerns me because noise and bearings is never a good combination.... But after about 50-60 miles.... They are still doing very good... If you don't hear from me again... The noise is meaningless and these are awesome.... But just be warned they may have a ton of chatter.. Even though they perform awesomely ... show more

  • Not this time.
I've bought these before and they were okay. The second time around they came with some missing the plastic seal on one side and already had some sort of roughness to them.

  • The best boosted board replacement bearings
These are the best replacement bearings for the boosted board V1 V2 stealth and Minnie that you can possibly get I've installed the set on my board 900 miles ago and they are still rolling better than any bearing I have used including Red's bones bearings

  • Do quality check, 1 faulty bearing ruins the whole package
So I bought these in December as backup bearing for my boosted board. We’ve seen a lot of rain and snow in New York these 2 months so I haven’t been riding until now the cold finally seems to be going away. I wanted to upgrade my bearings so I put them on, and what you know, 1 of the bearings is faulty and doesn’t spin. What am I going to do with 7 working bearings? There’s no contact information and it’s way past return date, so idk what to do. Moral of the story is to use things as soon as you buy them or don’t buy them until you need them. ... show more

  • Disappointed
I purchased these bearings and installed them on my boosted mini x about a month ago. Install was fairly easy and took about 15 minutes or so. Definitely a noticeable upgrade over stock bearings, but within a week or so they became super loud to where I thought something was wrong with my board. The bearings on the front right wheel we're barely spinning and we're causing all of the noise. I know for a fact they were not over tightened, I have plenty of experience with assembling skateboards. I also don't ride like a maniac, I just commute to work which is about 3 miles everyday both ways. I had to switch back to the original bearings just to ride. Just disappointed they don't last because they were a noticeable upgrade. ... show more

  • Noticeable upgrade over stock Boosted V2 bearings
These bearings are, in my opinion, a noticeable upgrade over the stock bearings on the Boosted Board V2. The originals that the board came with were fine, but even with proper maintenance, they always seemed to give off a little more friction and resistance than I thought they should. So I figured that I'd give these ceramic bearings a try. They fit perfectly and the difference was immediately obvious to me. The rolling resistance both in a "test environment" (i.e. flipping the board over and giving the wheels a measured spin) and on the road is definitely lower, and everything feels smoother. I also think that these bearings have somewhat increased the range of the board (need to do some more measured testing to confirm to what degree this is true) due to lower friction and resistance. Of all the practical/functional aftermarket upgrades you can make to a Boosted Board, I'd say these should be at the top of the list. ... show more

  • Can’t beat ceramic!
These roll reall smoothly. I have them in my boosted v2, mai my riding bear the beach with sand and salt water. So far so good. I have maybe 55 miles on them and they’re fine. Will see at the 6 month mark or after a few hundred miles.
