I play on an Xbox series x and I was looking to upgrade from my 1080p monitor to 1440p without it losing 120hz (for the games that run it). After connecting this monitor to my series x, I struggled to figure out how to get 1440p and 120hz. It wasn’t until I changed my Xbox “display option” setting from “HDMI” to “Auto-Detect” that I was finally able to get 120hz working with 1440p. So far, the monitor has been great! Got this 27in 1440p, 165hz, 1ms Acer Monitor on sale for $280 total including tax. To me that was a steal and the monitor has been flawless. No dead pixels or issues of any kind. Comes with both an HDMI and DP cord which is awesome. The stand is better than I thought it would be and actually has height adjustment. The frame of the monitor is light and doesn’t feel sturdy like my BenQ but as long as you don’t drop it, should never be an issue. The screen and quality are great, what’s not to like with 1440p, 165hz and 1 ms. Would def buy again if it goes on sale but I see it’s back to $350. ... show more

for the price I expected a lot better, the backlight smudges are bit distracting and the panel and the backlight are a bit separeted on the right bezel so its distort a bit the edge of the image

Este monitor lo compré en una oferta por 179 dólares lo cual fue una ganga, no es el mejor monitor del mundo pero ofrece lo que promete. Sus contras son sus cortos ángulos de visión ya que es un panel VA, su HDR no es bueno ya que solo llega a los 250 nota de brillo, los parlantes tampoco ofrecen mucho ya que no son tan potentes, además de que si no pones contenido en 2k o superior lla imagen se ve borrosa en Youtube en contenido 1080p. ... show more

    • AVOID - Quality control issues

EDIT: Shuts off by itself about once a day. Flashes random colors across the screen when it does. Started happening within two weeks of taking it out of the box. Never had an issue with this on any other monitor. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Started it up the first time and was greeted by a washed-out, dull image that I had to fiddle around with for 10 minutes in the terrible on-screen display to get it adjusted correctly. HDR should be on by default because this monitor is absolutely unusable in SDR. After everything was set up: The picture quality is okay; I have no idea if it's color accurate or not though. Pretty even lighting across the panel. Good refresh rate and adaptive sync. The sound is absolutely dreadful. I don't understand why they even bothered to include a speaker. It sounds like a phone speaker from 2004 wrapped in aluminum foil. Tinny and rattly. Shut it off after 30 seconds. I don't like the stand. It does have height adjustment / tilt adjustment which is nice, but no rotation. There's nowhere to route the cables from the monitor so they just dangle out the back. Cannot fully recommend due to the stand and audio (I don't like paying for features I can't use). Not enough to return but probably would look for a different monitor if I were to buy again. ... show more

It is very smooth, the curved screen makes everything feel focused toward you. It has great resolution and high framerate. Great for gaming and has blue like blocking for work purposes. I use it for work, gaming, and school.
