    • No consistency on panel quality or features, even on same manufacturing month/year.
I purchased 2 Nitro XV1s on March 2024 (Mfg Date Jan 2024) and they were awesome, i ended up returning one because of a sudden life event where i did not have the room two, and would prefer to travel as light as possible, and that all happened within the first week of owning both, so with great regret i returned one. I made my move and was ready to order the lost brother for my existing XV1 and i did, only to find when i connected it that ACER decided to make my previously 400 Nits ‎Nitro XV271U M3bmiiprx (yes, same submodel) now 250 Nits, not only that, the color shift of the screen and the color calibration is a mess altogether. I decided to pull the trigger on a XV2, i received it today and while brighter, there is so much color shift by just moving your eyes/head compared to the Jan 2024 Panel which was totally uniform that it's not funny, i regret returning that one because now i have to return two of these without the possibility of getting the lost brother of my loved Jan 2024 XV1 Panel. I decided to purchase another XV2, and has the same Manufacturing Date, but Guess What? Even the Startup animation/time is different, the menu is different, and the colors, shift and angles are different. I've read a lot of reviews about the Monitor Lottery, but it seems that this is a bad case of it, i wanted to order another one and wish for the best but maybe its not a good strategy, i guess i'll have to give another manufacturer a chance. Easy to start using, it has several modes, like shoter, race, and the HRD is really good, and it has eye protection, but if you consider to use the HRD for long time buy a blue reflection glases, take care your eyes always.

It was an awesome Mother's day present. For my spouse, I paired it with an MSI I7 17" laptop. The display is beautiful and very responsive. From my research it is more responsive than some high end OLED big screen tvs. Great value. great product.

    • Sound is Not Loud
So I have been using monitor for a few months. It is a great monitor and the display is amazing. The only problem is the sound. It comes with it's own speakers and that is a great add but it is not loud. If you have a kid, pets or even close neighbors the monitor sound gets drowned out by it. The option without the speaker is cheaper and you can use that extra money to buy better speakers. ... show more
