  • perfection
I primarily got this for work and it is absolutely perfect. I used to use 2 ea 23" monitors side by side so the work space decreased a bit but i honestly don't notice much. This looks so much cleaner on my desk and I love the curve. It is so much more friendlier on the eyes as well for working 8+ hours a day on it. I have yet to test it for gaming but look forward to the day. ... show more

  • It does what it should.
It's a monitor. It's curved. It's big. It's cool. No complaints about it, and for a purchase of this size that's a must have.

  • Great Monitor horrible stand
The brightness is good, love the wide curve, despise the stand, very limited adjustment, just not a good stand for such a nice monitor.

  • For the price it cannot be beat.
My wife got me this display from Amazon. I needed something a little bit bigger for text in games. For gaming this thing is amazing for the price it has all the same issues as any 500-600 dollar display. The cons the stand as it only moves on one axis, but you are not paying for a fancy stand. No USB ports and the speakers are not great. Those last two things are the last thing that should be on your mind when buying a display for gaming. I had to use tech support to do a hard reset on the display, once that happened HDR400 worked as intended. As for productivity, it depends if you are using an app with text graphics some things may not look ideal. Word processing, to on the web text looks fine and fully legible to clear. Pros the big one the cost it honestly cannot be beaten for the price. Games look awesome and vibrant with a little color correction, blacksmear is not bad and can only see it mostly in older games. Had zero issues setting it up. Tech support was great. Web browsing to emails look perfectly fine and clear. Gaming just wow simply awesome. If you are coming from a 700-2k dollar display and think this is going to perform as well? You will be disappointed. As the one review video I have found online about this display the guy was using a really nice display already. So low 400 something dollar display vs what he had used yeah he is not going to like the downgrade, yet for some of us it is a huge upgrade. One game CP 2077 there is some strange ghosting you can try to tweak your color settings and monitor settings, but you will still have some issue. It does not matter if it's this display or an expensive ultrawide they all have it. Something with the shaders in the interface of the game. There is a mod on the nexus to take care of it since it's not peoples displays it's a shader on the interface of the game. You will need to purchase a Digital Display Port 1.4 cable if you're intending on using FreeSync on a Nvidia card and want the display to be at 144hz, this is due to bandwidth limitations in HDMI. I was on the fence on this display, was a bit worried no reviews on rtings or blur busters. Honestly, it's an awesome display for the price. If you are thinking of buying it and cannot justify spending the money on a higher tier display that cost just as much or more than your premium video card? Go for it hands down you will not be disappointed just buy it. ... show more

  • Great monitor for the money.
Pretty decent monitor for the money. Plenty of ports. Good size for IT work. I still need bigger, but my "home office" is small and this is the perfect size for cramped places. VESA mount, which is a rarity now for whatever reason, saves lots of desk space. And after year and a half it still works with no noticeable degradation, dead pixels or anything at all. Same as day one. ... show more

  • This was a bad purchase
Had the monitor for 3 months and now it doesn't power on... Called Acer support and they were no help. Every time I called they said that they would send a shipping label, but they never do. In addition, I have to pay for a custom box and packing at FEDEX or UPS to send it back to Acer to get it repaired. This is a bad product. ... show more

  • Black Smearing
A good display if you like high brightness and do not need to use it in a dark room setting or for fast moving games. The ultrawide view is amazing for immersion and really gaining a new experience. Did have a bit of backlight bleed on the bottom and top but adjusting brightness to 35% seemed like a good sweet spot. Unfortunately this panel suffers greatly from what many call "black smearing". Basically terrible motion blur any fast moving picture games or dark mode web pages/windows. White text on black background for instance blurs terribly when scrolling. I tried with both overdrive off, normal and extreme. Messed around with various black light and AMD Radeon settings as well. Could not seem to get it to stabilize to something I felt comfortable with. ... show more

  • Died in 7 month
I bought this monitor 7 month ago and died recently. Their customer service was not that good either. Beware of this company
