First off I just want to say that for the people that want this and still want to be able to use word, you can. Go to the google play store and get the app. Works just like word on your regular PC. This is a great machine and I am more than happy that I decided to get a Chromebook instead of a regular laptop. The no touchscreen is not a problem for me because I hate touchscreen computers. Also this is not a Chromebook that flips and works like a tablet and that is not a big deal to me either because I have a tablet. This is great for school and for when I need it to do zoom. The touch pad mouse takes a little getting used to but it is adjustable in settings. Being a Mac user for years I was wary about buying this but since I had to move and needed a laptop, thought I would give this a go. I bought the larger 15 inch as the small laptops are hard on my old eyes. I traveled 3000 miles to my new home and this laptop has saved my home office business. Easy to use and so far no issues connecting with wifi or other devices. It fit in my suitcase going thru security at the airport. Much less expensive than a new Mac. I had to purchase a new laptop for my 9 year old after the old one (and I mean 2011 old) he was using finally conked out. I was relieved to find this one available on Amazon, especially considering the shortages that the country is going through right now. My son uses it without any issues for school, gaming and YouTube watching. The screen size is perfect and very bright, the controls on the computer are very easy to use and the case that comes with it has already come in handy because my 16 m/o is in her "everything is mine" phase and when she sees the actual computer, she tries to take it. I really like this chromebook. It seems well made, has a good looking screen (for the price point) and works perfectly for the type of work I’m doing (I’m a fourth grade teacher. My only complaint is that the description is incorrect. It’s advertised as having a touch screen, but it doesn’t. I was a little upset when I found out after I first started using it. I would have sent it back, but chromebooks have become so difficult to get at a decent price point, I just decided to keep it. In short, I like everything about this, except the misleading and incorrect description that this chromebook has a Touchscreen. If it had been as described, I would have given 5 stars. ... show more
