  • Works but has lots of unnecessary problems
Size: 28-inch
Pros: * Good consistency and no dead pixels. * High resolution and large amount of space * Height-adjustable stand * Wide color * Refresh rate goes over 80 Hz, even though it’s only advertised as 60. Cons: * Flimsy construction. The buttons on the back feel like they could easily cave in, and it creaks and pops a lot when warming up and cooling down. * Menu color mode system is confusing and buggy: You can’t even simply change the brightness or some other settings in some modes, for example: changing them switches back to normal mode, and then you have to go deep in the menu and save to the desired mode every time for it to work. The sRGB mode, which claims to be calibrated, is especially useless because it defaults to “warm” color temperature (which is specifically against the sRGB standard), and attempting to change the color temperature and save it makes it say that it’s the new setting even though it’s the same. Expect not to use this at all, and to need OS color profiles if you want to keep things from being over-saturated. * Takes an annoyingly long time to wake up from no signal - even longer than it takes to turn on with a signal already present. If using a custom refresh rate, it’s even worse, taking over half a minute (tried with both underclocked and overclocked refresh rates, and with and without input auto-switching enabled), so it’s literally faster to turn it off and on than to move the mouse and wait. * The screen surface is neither glossy nor matte, but a strange in-between. It doesn’t eliminate mirror reflections but slightly blurs them and adds a large halo around them. It’s called “anti-glare”, but compared to both a glossy screen and a truly matte screen side-by-side, I would say it actually makes glare worse. * It makes a faint low-pitched droning hum. In a room with other noise it might not even be noticed, but it’s there, and noticeable especially with a system that idles fanless. It sounds like a mains frequency hum and probably is, since changing the refresh rate or modifying other settings has no effect on it. It’s not coming from the speakers, which do hiss when the volume is not set to 0. Nothing I tried seemed to prevent it. In the end I returned it, mainly because of the hum. It’s kind of disappointing to send back the perfectly working panel, and I would probably work around the other cons, but if I could get a refund these problems are not something I would want to keep using for a long time. ... show more

  • screen randomly go dark or if I accidentally touch the power button and won't turn back on
Size: 23.8-inch
This is the cheapest height adjustable monitor I can find on amazon. Acer is a good brand and the build seems good. However I have experienced the screen just went dark for no reason, even though display setting still shows the monitor is there. Similarly I have accidentally touched the round power button and the screen went dark and refuse to turn back on, even if I plug and unplug the hdmi. The only way for it to work again is for me to reboot my computer. I just read that someone else had similar problem. I am returning this one but I wonder if I should get something else or take a chance and buy the same model. ... show more

  • Great monitor for the price, includes more features than others
Size: 14.5"x32.1"x4.9"
The 90W power delivery is the highlight of this monitor, as setting up an entire desk with one single USB-C cable and a power cable is the cleanest setup that can be achieved. Color is accurate and brightness is enough at 300 nits. Compared to other curved 1440p monitors, it outshines them in regards to ports, KVM offering, PIP/PBP features, and the IPS panel which is far superior to VA types. However it does not feature a very high refresh rate that most gamers would be looking for. I do think the monitor is fine for casual gaming. This is more in line with those looking for a productivity monitor without the need for a 2-screen setup. Very glad I came across this listing and found an IPS ultrawide panel that charge my MacBook Pro M1. Well done, Acer! ... show more

  • Great affordable usb-c monitor for working from home
Size: 14.5"x32.1"x4.9"
I bought this monitor to replace the mess of wires and usb hubs on my desk with a single usb-c wire. Now all my peripherals just plug into the monitor, and the usb-c goes directly from the monitor to my computer, providing both power and connection. It’s great!! I did a lot of research and think this is a great option for a curved monitor with usb-c connection at an affordable price. The image is good, the size is amazing, and the height adjustment and tilt features are useful. I had to manually adjust the eco settings and refresh rate to get the monitor to automatically wake up by moving the mouse, but this was quick and easy to do. My only complaint is that the manual is not tailored exactly to he product - it is more of a generic Acer manual. However, it was pretty easy to figure out how to set everything up. ... show more

  • Works well, but kind of finicky.( Reset Tips included)
Size: 28-inch
I purchase this as a combo external monitor for my Macbook Pro, and display for an AppleTV 4K. It works admirably for both, within limits. The stand is crap, but I didn't care since I am using a wall mount. The menu system is byzantine. It took me quite a while to set the monitor up for auto input detect. When I tried to add a display port input for another device temporarily, the whole menu system disappeared. I head to call support, which were very helpful explaining how I could do a hard reset. That worked, but Dport is still misbehaving, so duyers depending upon that should beware. The sound quality is adequate. The screen is matte, which I like personally, but still retains fingerprints. It's easy to clean though. I am not sure I'd buy this monitor again mainly because of the setup hassles, which translate later into a lack of flexibility adjusting settings. The price was good. I guess you get what you pay for. ... show more
