A very nice (and fast) laptop compared to the old Acer Aspire. Nice, BUT they moved the Home & End keys to the 7 & 1 keys. You'll have to hit NumLock every time to use Home or End, then again to go back to NumLock. Three strokes for the price of one! WORSE is the narrowing of the Numerical keys, like it was some engineers afterthought and he just jammed them in there. If you use numeric keys a lot you find it very difficult getting your fat fingers working these keys. Also . . . . there's an intermittent connection in the power jack on this unit. As the power connector moves the unit goes in / out of charging. Not sure how long before the power jack IN THE UNIT will need to be replaced.

I returned this after dealing with everything from technical difficulties to the sound not working properly and now my touchpad is only working 80 percent of the time. I just purchased this 2/12 months ago. So now I have spent a significant amount of money for a damaged item and I have to wait for weeks until Amazon returns my money so I can purchase a much needed laptop. By the way, I purchased this because this was "Amazon's Choice"

Kids are doing virtual learning and needed a laptop that was responsive and this one is. Not only is there no lag on the school sites but they also play fortnite with no lag at all. Anyone who has tried to d/l fortnite knows the headaches that come with it. This is an absolute dream machine. Would definitely recommend

I really like the screen quality of this laptop and back-lit features but i wasn't expecting that it would come with memory problem. Also the battery was draining faster than the normal laptop. And thanks to amazon product helper, they did replacement on this laptop for me and i hope it won't come with same problem again. This review is about same laptop but the new laptop that they send me for replacement. So far, i'm not having memory problem like the first laptop had but i'm kinda concern about the fan noise that when ever i get windows update and try to downloaded it, the fan gets little loud and i do not know if this is normal or not. Anyway, in my opinion this laptop is perfect for college student and for everyone not just college student.

I purchased this computer for work because I didn't want to use my MAC. I wanted something that was cost efficient and would get the job done, so I opted for the Acer. I love the computer itself but if I had to change one thing it would definitely be the keypad. The keys are a little to flat for me. I make too many typing errors with this computer that I do not make on my Mac. But I guess that's to be expected when you purchase a thin computer.

First Day using it and I'm loving it! I love that I got the dedicated graphics card option because it makes light gaming so much better compared to the integrated. It's programmed to use integrated but after adjusting, the nvedia geforce mx350 satisfy me as a light gamer. There are a couple downside tho, the battery life is alright. Light use about 3-4 hours. And backlit keyboard turns off after 15 seconds of idling. But the price for this, totally worth! I love the metal feel of the laptop, the speed of the ssd.

I really did try liking this laptop but with only one dimm slot and then me noticing the WiFi card failing and then shortly after the leads of the card popping off after I noticed the card not working made me mad. I really did try popping it back with no luck. I was forced to tell Amazon about the design flaw with the size of the card it will have thermal issues and will fail All I was trying to do is replace I do not like my money on hold or explain the design flaw to CS when he ask ( which he should not his job is to explain why I cannot get a replacement). So going nowhere I ended chat and just did a refund. Its not a good idea to have a HD header to add a ssd next to the cheapo wifi card. If something fails in which case the card its a pain to take out the hard drive.

Everything about this laptop is great unless you plan to put it under some kind of load. Fan is loud and power supply can not adequately feed the cpu and gpu. The mx350 in this laptop is completely useless! Do not buy this even for light gaming!
