Normally do all the vehicle repairs but due to time constraints and health issues at the time, this part was handed off a repair shop. I try to use name brand parts and AC Delco parts have worked well for me in the past. According to mechanic there were no problems with the installation.

Quality part. Stick to GM (more pricey) or factory OEM (this part). Don’t go cheap on suspension/steering parts. Put this on a Hummer H2. Great replacement.

Amazons fitment guide is not accurate on this!! I cross referenced this with the acdelco website, and knew it was the right part even thought amazon said it wasn't. This is for a 99-06 silverado with a steering gear box power steering!! not rack and pinon!!! the threads are 2 different sizes between the two!!! I installed this on a 2006 silverado SS with a power steering gear box. (this is the second time ive tried this.. amazons fitment guide was incorrect with another part from another seller.) none of the fitment guides show the difference in parts for a steering gear box setup or a rack and pinion set up! ... show more
